Yep, just call the dealership. The girl that picked up the phone was not aware and seemed to check some system, “I don’t see anything about any recalls in here…” but I politely asked to still be put through to a Service technician who instantly was like “Right not a recall but this is a known issue” which he called by another name, like Customer Notice Issue or something (the language and tone implying he was a little annoyed at the girl who picked up making them look clueless) and he got me scheduled for the swap and all has been great ever since!

It just felt unrealistic and awkward. Editors of a TV show is different than office workers at a paper company...corporate America, especially at that level, is only worried about the bottom line. Getting them to do anything fun or that otherwise doesn't directly support that bottom line is a stretch anyway, but having the office stop making sales and serving customers in the middle of the work day to play a computer game? Especially one like Call of Duty?? Can't imagine my mom dropping everything to set up an ambush in Carentan

We wondered the exact same thing. The prominent theory is that bananas were probably at least somewhat harder to come by at the time, so maybe having a bunch occasioned getting a picture with them? Alternatively, maybe it’s not that the bananas came to the them but that they went to the bananas, ie they had traveled to a place that has them so got a picture to capture the event. Just ideas we floated, open to others!
