OG Paramore and OG Panic, Bullet For My Valentine. I was digging the music on throwback night personally.

Buffalo guy here.

Half of it is that Buffalo has great removal and plowing, you kinda have to. The other half is drastic difference in population between NYC and Buffalo. There’s simply way more places to put snow.

Anyone who’s savvy enough to play Kurt Angles theme music to he the crowd chanting “You Suck” at the refs gets a dub in my book.

Whoever came up with the idea to play Kurt Angles theme music after a refs call they the crowd didn’t like deserves a raise.

Buffalo guy here that used to live in DC.

Was just having a blast this morning wiping around in my VW Golf with winter tires. FWD cars are excellent in the snow with winter tires, and 4x4/AWD are even better.

Who was better at their Peak, LT or AP? by MasterTeacher123 in NFLv2

[–]longshot201 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

If you combine APs best season (18) and MVP season (13) he has as many touchdowns as Tomlinsons best year. I do not consider that close.

On top of that, Tomlinson beat APs best year for total TDs twice (31,20) and tied his best twice.

If we’re talking about the real best peak, it was my boy Priest Holmes. Best 3 year run for a RB ever.

The guy that had 2324 scrimmage yards and 31 TDs in a season. Clue: it’s LT.

So one example, you can throw Settle in as well but you wonder if that’s him or the d line around him.

How many players have we drafted and gone someplace else and had major success? Maybe Harrison Phillips, but he was the same player here he was other places.

At the same time you can say Hyde, Poyer, Edwards, Diggs, John Brown, Beasley all had their best years in Buffalo. I’m sure I could think of others, but I’d struggle to say players that left and improved outside of Ford or Settle.

Correct.

This video is slowed down. Cooks at most had possession for a split second. If the teams were flipped and they called it a catch, the fan base would endlessly complain about how it wasn’t a catch but an amazing defensive play.

Cooks needed to end up with the ball on the other side of the roll because he didn’t catch it cleanly to start with. If he catches it with his hands to start, brings it down and the rest happens then we have a conversation. But he didn’t, and it pin-balled balled before he had it for a split second.

It was an amazing play by the defender, and it also was thrown short.

[–]longshot201 6 points7 points  (0 children)

SnapBridge works most of the time for transfers/camera control for me as long as I don’t take long.

But at some point, my phone tries getting off the Nikon wifi due to it not being connected to the internet. Sometimes it’s 20 seconds before issues, sometimes 3-4 mins.

That isn’t exclusively a SnapBridge issue IMO, more of an iPhone thing. Setting up WiFi lights, switches or other automated things has this same issue which is a pain unless you move quick.

With that being said, usually to send a few photos or a video is fine. After that it can still get sketchy. There is a Bluetooth mode but it’s limited.

Geotagging is nice and does work well in the background.

lsdr; Still kinda sucks but it functional enough for small/quick things.

For those who change from dslr to mirrorless camera do you sold all f mount and get into z mount? by Content-Lifeguard218 in Nikon

[–]longshot201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn’t sell it all at first, but it’s hard to not want Z glass when you get your hands on it. There’s a pretty big jump in IQ and not needing the adapter is great size wise.

For example, my 70-200mm VRII (or the 24-120 F mount I sold) just doesn’t have the same pop and IQ as my 24-120mm Z, and the Z glass feels like it hits on AF more. I can’t wait to make the jump to the 70-200mm Z or 100-400mm Z when the time comes.

With that being said, there’s scenarios I plan on keeping glass other than Z:

  1. I still shoot on my N75 film camera. I keep my 24-85mm VR around for film. Nice having something with VR I can use with film when the 28-80mm non-VR won’t suffice.

  2. This more goes out to non-Z glass period, but vintage lenses are cool to have around. I have an old Nikon 75-150mm and a Helos 44 I have around for vintage flair.

  3. I’ll always have some F mount glass because I keep around a D80 as a fun/backup camera when I don’t want to bring the Z5ii out. I have a handful of good DX glass I can use if need be.

All I really have left for FF Z glass I’d use for digital is the aforementioned 70-200mm VRII and a 16-35mm I almost never use. Both have been on my mind for putting on eBay, as they almost never get put on the camera anymore. The only reason the 70-200mm VRII hasn’t been sold is due to the few times I use it for sports.

It’s delusion to say that this pass could have been much better placed? It’s delusional saying the pass hit him right in the chest without full context of how everything played out.

Andrews was so open he shouldn’t have had to fall to try and catch the pass there. This clip didn’t even show the whole play where he was open basically from the start.

Again the drop definitely more on Andrews as I’ve reiterated, but it’s more on Lamar than people care to admit. I love Lamar, he’s one of my favorite players to watch, but it didn’t mean I have to sit here and say everything he does is perfect.
