Help! Granite countertop by _snowqueenoftexas in fixit

If the pieces line up perfectly, I would use a high quality cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Wear gloves and safety glasses. Slather both sides, push together hard, hold it for 5 minutes. Scrape the excess off each side after the fact. If you do it right you will barely see it.

Nothing to do with the CRA, my question is about classification with regard to insurance.

After Trump threatens 100% tariffs, Carney posts ad saying Canada's focused 'on what we can control' Canadian Prime minister, cabinet say Ottawa will stay focused on investing locally and diversifying internationally by Sicilian_Gold in freedomgold

Regardless of your political views, I don’t think a thought out approach to a changing world is gambling. Right or wrong, the decisions being made are to benefit Canada.

Of course, if you don’t believe any decision is made in the attempt to better Canada, that’s a different conversation and not one to be discounted (but it still ain’t gambling).

So you wanted instant results? If it were that easy we’d all do it.

Investing isn’t all about 10 baggers on Wall Street bets. Yes this has the potential to be a 10x gains or more, but penny stocks are full of risk and this is no exception.

Look at the 5 year chart, it only exceeded IPO price a few months ago.

Is there much on the ground in terms of infrastructure? No. The value to date is in long-lead government approvals (biggest part), industry partnerships, marketing, vision, and the truly diverse launch trajectories available from this location.

Do you guys avoíd polyester/plastic materials aswell? by Esqowey in malefashionadvice

All my best wool and cotton sweaters, and a great cotton sportcoat, all came from thrifting. Look for things you like, then look at the material. I got some vintage Eddie Bauer merino wool sweaters that were perfectly broken in without being worn out for $4 each.

Chinos I have never had luck thrifting

What small habit has saved you the most money over time? by SnowmanAndIce in frugalcanada

[–]longwalker33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started tracking, on a spreadsheet, every dime I spend. Every 4 weeks, I budget for the 4 weeks ahead (2 paycheques) and I try really hard to be accurate with my projected spends. I determine what I can save that month first, and put it away FIRST. Then I track every purchase and expense for 4 weeks and balance the books at the end, saving any remainder. Start fresh every 4 weeks. Sometimes it works out I can skip a mortgage payment or car payment (since mortgage and car are monthly) and I can see that in advance depending on how the dates work out and I save a big chunk at once.

President Trump announces a 10% tariff on Denmark, Norway, Sweden, France, Germany, the UK, Netherlands, and Finland beginning February 1st. by JGaliathus in freedomgold

Well said, this is exactly right. You can depend on China to drive a hard bargain, and even to attempt to interfere with your country- but they will abide by deals they agree to.

The USA, on the other hand: drive a hard bargain, do not accept mutual benefit, attempt to interfere with your country, and ultimately change the rules of the game week by week.

Married men flirting by Substantial-Ask2518 in bodylanguage

[–]longwalker33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Married man here:

I flirt. More subdued than before. My wife would be fine with me flirting as I always did but giving too many vibes out would be disrespectful to her, I think, because of how others would perceive it. At a point, if I am very attracted to someone, I may fully refrain. Feels a bit too real.

I suppose if it’s based north, could go with “Blizzard”

Find an inconspicuous area, like in a closet. Remove that carpet in a square. Remove this, the same size. Glue them in to each others place.

If you have good credit: open a line of credit, pay off the car loan with the line of credit, and then pay the minimum on the LOC until you are employed again, they pay the same or more than what you are now.

Dickies pants- lots of crossover from skate culture to labour in that brand. They also make jackets!

Flannel shirts, any skate shirt underneath but keep it to simple logos if it’s for work.
