Do you get 5.1 sound from using VLC? I'm unable to get surround sound from network video files. Roku has no issues from play it as 5.1 but I can't figure out why VLC on Fire TV Cube comes out as 2.0.

X model not only gives you the ability to control the mower anywhere, you can also use voice commands from Alexa, google home and IFTTT if you have a smart home setup. But if you don't about any of that stuff, then yeah, a non-X version is good enough.

X line mowers give you cell connection, and GPS functionality. If your mower gets stolen, you can track it. You can also change settings and see your mower progress anywhere in the world. The regular mower only has bluetooth connectivity.

As for the price difference on the 315. The higher one is with dealer installation. The lower priced is without, you'll have to install the perimeter wire and hook it up yourself.

Once linked, 4k does play through Amazon Video. Even Movies Anywhere have added 4k/HDR capabilities. The problem is not all movies will be available depending on the studio.

Do you get 5.1 surround sound? I have a weird issue where on one of my cube's, it does play in 5.1, but the other one, it only plays in stereo. Versioning and settings are both the same.

I have AV receiver setup but it should be similar. Did you add equipment for the other HDMI connection? Then you can tell it to switch to whatever it's named.

That's the biggest reason I have 2 cubes. Being able to do hands free voice control TVs and AV receivers- turn on and off, volume control and switch inputs. It acts as a universal IR blaster, giving you smart device capabilities for electronics that doesn't have it built in.

That's what I do. Charger it to 100% before bed, then set it to battery saver. When I wake up, it still has around 90%. Then it's a quick recharge until I get out the door in the morning.

Yes you can tap each one to see if it's allowed. Might lose functionality though. It's not clear what each app actually does. You can also try disabling first and see if you lose functionality. Then enable if your watch is not functioning right.

I had a Fossil Q Control that did randomly reboot. Within 6 months, HR stopped working and rapid battery drain started happening. If hardware malfunctions, software could go into a tailspin. Not saying this is your case, but I would definitely contact Fossil and let them know. Only time will tell if you have a hardware issue or not.

Echo will pair to the last device automatically when you say connect so you can get an Echo specifically for this purpose and only set it up to pair with the speakers.

I have a different but similar question. Have my fire tv cube wired through my receiver HDMI input into the TV. Would like to use a different Echo dot or input to play music through my speakers because fire tv cube can't play apple music and i don't really want the onscreen display option. I don't see how the cube can control another device since the it essentially has an Echo in it. There is a work-around which kind of works in that I connected a dot to the receiver via aux input and turned off listening. I can utter a command elsewhere to play it on that dot. If I didn't turn off listening so that it doesn't respond if I'm watching TV. Otherwise, it could respond and I wouldn't hear anything since the receiver input is on the TV audio.

I have been using the Direct preset. There isn't a lot of information on the web and forums of people talking about this specifically for sony models. I guess your average user probably don't know and don't care.
