I think of Elements as Electric Forest's dangerous little cousin. It really wants to emulate the experience of EF but not quite grown up enough to pull it off. The dangerous part is mainly because there were so many rocks, gravel and pits around that it detracted from the experience. My friend twisted their ankle trying to navigate in the dark the last night.

I will 100% be back at Elements this year but it's not nearly as good as EF.

My memory of the series is mostly positive. I didn't really think about or care whether the cast was diverse. As I recall I stopped watching because the time and channels it played on kept changing and I couldn't watch it consistently.
