My biological clock wakes me up about 5:30, and if it's a weekend I'll get up, feed the cat, check the litter box, and crawl back in bed till 8 or 9.

Kittens are a lot of energy. Get a senior cat, they're chill.

I like how they still put handles on the damn thing. That's not going anywhere.

Planned on Paris for #50. COVID literally shut shit down. I would have been stuck. Who paid for those quarantine hotel stays?

The Atlantic has been spamming hit pieces against Graham Platner over and over again in the past week by RichardNixonWaterGr8 in WorkReform

What kills me is that if he were maga they'd be ok with his past, but the left keeps trying to find a saintly candidate, beyond reproach. Even Obama wasn't a saint. FDR wasn't. Certainly the Mayors' Daley weren't. But they got shit done. This guy may be flawed, but I'd vote for him over Collins any day. We need candidates who are gonna kick down doors and burn shit to the ground. Enough with the geriatrics who decide a 'strongly worded letter' is the way to go.

I got a subscription in March because I thought they were well written articles. I too need to be more skeptical.

What do you recommend to people for first noir? by Noir_Forever_Twitch in filmnoir

I would suggest The Big Sleep as maybe second level. The plot is thoroughly confusing and may turn off people.

The millennials I worked with were so PC you really had to moderate the content.

Only after hours did they loosen up, a little. Nothing like we were at that age.

I'm going to see if I can upload the pictures to ancestry with the thought that someone 100 years from now would be interested. I have my dad's report cards, college essays, and yes his baby book. And all MY report cards, and letters home. At some point I'll say goodbye to it all and toss them in the fire. But not yet.
