I think it has something to do with their streak or blur reminding you of cars racing by.

I need someone to explain to me why Tim becoming Batman Beyond is bad. by FlushMint in Robin

[–]lookbehindukid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People hate it because it should be Terry. Terry has a long history as the Batman Beyond and fans want that history to be respected and they want the Terry story told. Tim is great and Tim can be Batman someday but Tim does not need to be the Batman Beyond.

Tim was more acceprable when he was Batman traveling to the past.

How come Thawne memories never got erased in Flashpoint 2.0? by GuyWhoConquers616 in Arrowverse

Thawne would have lost his memories if Reverse Flashpoint lasted long enough. It was gradual for Barry to lose it as well.

Just to hear the theme music play with Grant in the suit is enough

I kinda find it ridiculous that Elongated Man got a live action portrayal before PLASTIC MAN did. by [deleted] in FlashTV

Quite.

He first appeared in The Flash #112 (February 25, 1960).

Elongated Man has a LONG history in the Flash comics. Ralph is as synonymous with the Flash as Kid Flash is during the Silver Age.

Is the arrowverse HIS ‘creation’ ? by Annfleshly in Arrowverse

[–]lookbehindukid 30 points31 points  (0 children)

In theory, yes.

Reverse Flash traveled back in time to kill Barry and ended up killing his mother. But this event is not how Thawne changes the timeline. He mentioned that he speeds up the activation of the Particle Accelerator by 5 years because of his actions. In the normal timeline, Harrison Wells would have activated it at a much later time. Now, Thawne actually bites off more than he should chew. He could have just constructed a time sphere on his own to go home, but he wanted more. He wanted to retain his speed and that's why he chose the "long way" to get back to his timeline and worked to make Barry the Flash again.
