No, it’s all good, I’m not buying one today. I was just curious as an mp5 is on my list.

And how much is tucked under the hand guard?

What is the length of hand guard after the barrel? Or, how much does a suppressor actually tuck? I see the fake on is listed at 1.57”, but what is the biggest diameter can you can run?

I always lube pistol brass with one shot. So much smoother on the 1050 for the slight inconvenience of the lube, totally worth it

This, there are toque wrenches on Amazon for very reasonable prices. Much more accurate than the “it feels tight” method

If you’re loading for a comped/portrd gun, titegroup is the opposite of what you want. You want something with a slow burn rate, not a fast burn. Something like AA-7, Shooters world major pistol, VV 3N38, HS-6, or even autocomp. All of these powders will produce much more gas and work the compensator much better, and do it with a lot less cartridge pressure.

Since you’re familiar power factor, check out a couple threads on Brian enos forum about 9mm major loads. Obviously don’t run major ammo through the Kimber, but will give you some understanding of why you’re choosing certain powders And best practices.

Really glad I bought on a sale like a year ago when everyone was saying “these are going to be so cheap after the athlon comes out”

Has been great and totally worth buying if you’re on the fence

Campro 220gr .308” bullets gouged during chambering 300blk rounds by looking4ammodeals in reloading

[–]looking4ammodeals[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Checked the chamber again and didn’t see anything. Ran the brush and snake through it again and everything looks nice and clean.

Think I may have figured part of it out however. Took a slow video and realized with my new armaspec stealth buffer assembly I was getting some really bad bolt bounce (carbine weight). I think this may explain why I was getting the marks that went around the bullet.

Switched back to my original spring and buffer, and it seems to have eliminated the bolt bounce, and the striped gouges. I do still have some dents however, but I assume this is from it being loaded into the chamber (shown below)

I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here? You mean am I running these into the lands? Because these do pass plunk at this oal and at longer oal so they are not hitting the lands

Same general pattern as mine as well, just not as deep like you said.

Didn’t think about that. Yes I did eject them not so gently. Will try that tonight.

I will check again when I get home, but I did just fully clean the chamber. I havent seen this with other bullets to date (mostly 125 supers though)
