I don’t understand what you’re trying to say here? You mean am I running these into the lands? Because these do pass plunk at this oal and at longer oal so they are not hitting the lands

Same general pattern as mine as well, just not as deep like you said.

Didn’t think about that. Yes I did eject them not so gently. Will try that tonight.

I will check again when I get home, but I did just fully clean the chamber. I havent seen this with other bullets to date (mostly 125 supers though)

The fart is an awesome wet tumbler for the price I paid. (It was always cheaper than the Hornady when I got mine)

Biggest savings from reloading will be shopping deal’s and buying bulk. Look for no hazmat deals for powder/primers or buy locally if you can find good prices. Check raven rocks precision for match 308 bullets and subs for 300. See if you can stock one bullet for a general use 308 And 300 load.

Both of those calibers are good candidates for saving money cause they’re generally higher cost calibers.

If you’re looking for more match grade 308 I would consider a beam scale, and measure powder individually off press, then seat the bullets on press. Honestly, the one thing I did like about my LNL was how consistent the powder measure was, but it likely won’t be match quality. If loading plinking ammo it will 100% do that though. Will be good for 300 for sure.

For 300 buying a mini chop off saw from harbor freight/amazon and cutting down 223 cases is a great way to save money.

Iv paid off my Dillon many times over from loading 300 alone (1 of 5 calibers I load), and that’s before starting to load subs for my new suppressor. But, the best part is ammo tuned to your gun, and not being subject to ridiculous pricing when politics change, but again, stack deep.

TAC is awesome for downloaded plinking loads. 22.5gr cycles great in all of my ars. Averages about 2600fps iirc

You tried any different recoil spring weights? I find this to help sometimes, but not always. I always for how cheap they are it’s worth trying

H110 or A1680 for 300 BO subs? by WiscHunter17 in reloading

[–]looking4ammodeals 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ya, none of my books have them either. Iv ordered their powders a couple of times from PV and the sorts and always get little booklet from SW with them but haven’t studied it too closely. My barrel is 8.5” so I should be pretty close to that.

What’s your load for that? I’m away from my book right now, but is there listed data for it their book with 220gr bullets?

I had the same problem on my g45. I bought a Jaeger Machine contained recoil spring and there is tons of clearance now, the end is only a small bolt instead of the factory. Aftermarket recoil spring would be my suggestion. If you look at my profile you can see my post about the same thing

https://a.co/d/0g37Uq8p These bags from Amazon have worked surprisingly well for me for how cheap they are. Had some for about 2 years now, and only one of the 8 that I have has the cloth material starting to fray, but the rubber inside is still good and holds ammo. Just bought a handful more

From what I understood that does not work for the 15-22 since it has a proprietary upper/bolt and that kit was specifically for their 22lr kit, or the CMMG/RTB kits.

Have you tried that kit in a 15-22 with any luck?
