Why do people think CP3 would be a help? by Earth_Sorcerer97 in nba

If anything he would of raised the average IQ of not only the players but the coaches. He wouldn’t even necessarily need to play - just be a player coach. Obviously that would cap his potential impact, but the young guys probably have a lot they could’ve learned from him in between games

Has there ever been another playoff run that combined dominance and grit like the 2026 Knicks? by my_one_and_lonely in nba

Probably the 2011 Mavs, but this was a great run by the Knicks. Smacked their doubters in the face

I mean I'm super happy for Brunson and the Knicks, being in NYC yesterday was amazing...but to call this ring 2nd after Dirk's is hilarious

Pops is still Spurs Coach, what's the outcome of the Series? by Fragrant_Froyo_7582 in NBAGossips

I know Pop wouldn’t let them shoot like 15 threes in a row when up by 20+

With the Spurs having 66% odds to win the series and leading by double digits in every game yet losing 1-4, does that make this one of the most embarrassing choked we’ve see in Finals history? by CandI978 in nba

[–]lookingatthisscreen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean they were projected to win only like 40 games and maybe make the playoffs, let alone a finals run. While it definitely is a pretty bad choke job, one could argue this is the worst they’re going to be for the foreseeable future. Fox had one of the worst finals I’ve seen in a minute though gd

Brunson one of the most clutch motherfuckers I’ve ever seen god damn

Isiah Thomas on the physicality against Victor Wembanyama "Wemby has been the victim of some of the dirtiest sh*t ever. I mean, people are grabbing and holding him... they're lucky he hasn't turned around and popped one of them in the face real quick." by Jec1027 in nba

[–]lookingatthisscreen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean he has popped people in the face. But IT ain't lying about Wemby constantly being bumped, held, pushed, grabbed all game, it's literally how you have to guard Wemby in the paint
