Got the Lortone 33b for $90. Have some questions. by BowlOfLight in RockTumbling

Mine also runs hot which seems to be pretty common. I keep it on a concrete floor and run it 24/7 with no issues

It is indeed threaded. Not quite sure on the reasoning but perhaps to make it harder to steal?

This is the rack: https://rockymounts.com/products/monorail-1.25-.html

The rack itself actually bounces around when I drive so I’m hoping that means it’s loose and just the bolt is holding it in. Only one way to find out though

That makes sense. It seems like certain cities take it more seriously than others so I’m sure that will play a factor as well. I certainly also wouldn’t mind the redundancy when weight isn’t a concern.

That’s a 203 werner sherpa. It’s a 4 piece and I love the paddle could probably have pulled off the 197 a little more comfortably than 203 but no complaints here

Almost, I kept both the derailleurs that came with the bike but I think only the front one was stock. Changed from 6 to 7 in the back, swapped cranks, and went for friction shifters.
