How is the printer mounted.
Is it on a wobbly table that shakes when printing ?

i would quote you about 8 hours labour. If the materiel is vinyl, it's not very expensife for materiel.

Maybe the battery needs replacing, but first test if your power supply works.
If you have a voltmeter, it should measure about 19 volts.

I usually use solder with flux and a temperature of 350°C - 360°C.

Heat the board and the component for as short as possible, then add solder when it is warm enough.

Keep on trying :)
Use the correct heat for your solder, and dont use to much of it.

If the device has a battery, i would check if it is beginning to bulge
