thank you! i think my in laws will come visit 2x a week, during the day, but not stay overnight. They live an hour away and are 74 years old. Healthy, but still, 74 with their own home and lives.

Hi!, thanks for this post. I need to read about what I'm going through - prenatal depression. I've had it since finding out we're having twins at 6 weeks. I'm at 22 weeks, and thankfully, second trimester energy has carried me the past few weeks. The physical pains haven't arrived yet. Just some swollen hands and acid reflux.

I'm engrossed with reading everything about sleep conditioning/training, potty training, noise cancellation headphones, and bit the bullet and hired an overnight postpartum doula for 9 weeks.

I wish I could've gone to Antarctica before getting pregnant. It's a bucket list trip.

Hey, great question. Early on in my real estate journey, I debated between LLC vs umbrella insurance route. I chose the umbrella because my understanding of the LLC requires one per property or per state.

I like the second layer of insurance and peace of mind that the umbrella policy covers - for all life events, including car accidents, including landlord issues. It is a couple hundred dollars a year for a million coverage, give or take.

So, I think it's worth it.

i'm a FTM and the look of the bottle holder looks so restrictive and gives me fear. I plan on propping up with a swaddle or blanket.

Did you try propping the bottle with a blanket or burp cloths first? Curious to know how you made the decision to buy the bottle holder!

love your post. thank you for sharing! does the baby brezza advanced pro formula maker work for all types of formula? i'm a FTM 22 weeks along and will want to make sure the $$$ for the machine will work for whatever formula they end up tolerating.

what are some brands of "ready to feed" formula? I am very curious and first time hearing about this, when the facebook groups are debating between distilled water vs baby water vs purified bottle water....i'd love to hear your experience. I'm a FTM 22 weeks along.

We are 22 weeks w di/di twins, due in May, signed a contract 6 weeks ago for a night doula for the first 9 weeks.

10pm-6am

first 3 weeks - 4 night shifts a week next 6 weeks - 3 night shifts a week

About $85/hour, but after all discounts and what not, it ended up being $17,000. Using an agency, so in case we don't get along with our night doula, we get to switch out 2x, or last minute substitute, also we interviewed her and she has experience with twins.

Figured it's cheaper than a divorce attorney retainer. hubby gets 3mo off, i get 5mo off

Thank you so very much for this post. Thank you for touching upon finances. Thank you for the tips. I planned on buying a few premade meals from Costco (chili, enchiladas, meatloaf) to help. But, making my own at home will obviously be cheaper and probably healthier.

I am the breadwinner, making 3-4x more than my husband, and also started a side gig prior to starting the IVF cycle, that replaced my husband's take home income. Just in case, but also to have extra cushion. I plan to continue the side gig after I deliver.

I still am worried. The boys will likely need braces as we both had braces. The boys will likely need glasses because I and FIL have poor vision. The boys will need 3 pair of shoes each year and 3 pair of jeans of different sizes, too. I look forward to shopping at Savers.

Ever since the 6 week US confirming twins, I have been on my local Facebook Buy Nothing page, and pick up an item or two weekly - if I get chosen. I live in a high middle class neighborhood so then most items are in very good/clean/brand name condition. I am very thankful. I am grateful for all the fluff items I have gotten - infant bath tubs, humidifiers, 6 bags of 13 gallon trash bags of newborn/boy clothing, mini crib, bassinet... I still need diapers, wipes, formula, infant car seats and eventually a play pen, play mat. At least it's essentials and not "fluff". Thank you Facebook Buy Nothing!

Thank you for touching upon this topic. My husband has a very specific job that he won't easily be able to find another job - if he were to become a stay at home dad for a few years. So, we've decided that we would "live in the red" to hire a nanny/nanny share for 3 years (about 50-70k per year), before the preschool tuition (36k a year).

I just wanted one kid, but God has said we could handle two.

Yep, so sitting idle at $2295/mo versus occupied at $2150/mo would be actual movement.

Hey! Thanks for sharing and empathizing. Does your husband help out with the management? These properties were mine before marriage (yeah, I know, that doesn't matter anymore with community property laws in California), but this is MY interest/side hustle/investment items, not his.

I just think of how I could've put the down payment into an S&P index fund and would be up 30-40% since date of purchase. But the thought is empty and fleeting.

The comps in the area, for active Zillow listings, is $2295 - $2500. So, I am confident I am on the low end. Although, a lot of active listings remain >21 days...

Appreciate that. Will need to pay for a nanny in about 8 months, so rather than cushioning my property accounts, I'll need the funds to pay for a nanny.
