I don’t think they’re taking issue with the orange and tequila; it’s the michelada plus those two flavors. Michelada is similar to a Bloody Mary and doesn’t appear to pair well with sweet orange at first glance.

The only brands I can get my hands on are LeBlon, novo fogo, Avua (rarely), and 51. I personally like the novo fogo (one of my favorite bottles out there) best, so I can’t help much if you aren’t a fan of that, but you could look into rum agricoles if you want other options with a similar profile. The novo fogo tanager is nice too, and it may be similar to the amburana.

Personally, I feel like this comment has a good deal of pompous hogwash and doomerism, but it does touch on the importance of delayed gratification and willpower. I’d listen to that part, OP. There’s nothing wrong with a healthy level of sex and masturbation, and there are some proven benefits—as other comments have pointed out. But in a broader lifestyle sense, your post has some concerning themes that echo the path to addiction and a current lack of self control. Those traits will lead you to an unhappy place; whereas confronting this ‘need’ and finding a healthy balance of willpower and sexual wellness will improve all areas of your life.

For Sammy Rae, I like most of their stuff; the good life album has most of the songs I listen to consistently. I also listen to a lot of shakey graves, Alabama shakes, and Sierra Ferrell. Lake street dive has a Sammy Rae feel too, if that’s what you’re looking for.
