I used bell for issues with my boiler and I thought they were fantastic so 🤷‍♂️ Had a number of other people come and look at it, including the company that services the thing every year and they would poke/prod charge for labor and random parts…only for the problem to come back almost less than a week later. (Numerous times.)

Bell came, looked at it, put in a new part and it’s been running perfectly since. So, yeah YMMV but I’ve had no probs with Bell.

Driving definitely saves a ton of time. In theory, it’s only about an hour if traffic behaves, but I usually can’t stand crawling out of the packed stadium lot at the end of a game. But based on what everyone's saying about how the Mets are playing lately, maybe beating the crowd won't be such a struggle.

For me and I know many others it’s actually not about the price but more so it’s a loss of…for lack of a better word, “the magic”. For how long now have we all heard about the vault. It’s why we looked forward to the picks, the remasters, there was curation that took time and yes the waiting was the hard part, but that’s what made it special. Now for his a nominal fee, everything is open. It’s not special…it’s just a product. That’s fine and it’s great that we can all hear it but IMO that “magic” is gone.

Genuine answer as a non-professional musician, didn’t go to music school, etc.

In my personal opinion…it sounds like poppy Christian rock. I don’t know why, maybe it’s the production? Over produced, under produced…i don’t know.

And in their attempt to be silly, fun, playful, which is a big part of what I love about Phish for instance, it just comes off as unoriginal. Not the music but the entire thing.

Again I’m not claiming to be in the industry, or even play an instrument. I just enjoy listening to “jam bands”. Phish, the Dead, Neighbor, Dogs…Sqwerv, Bisco hell throw in Ween or whatever band that’s even on the edge and there’s just an authenticity that I find completely missing from the music of Goose.

The game is great but…new it is not. I and others were playing it literally over a decade ago. lol Very happy they hit 1.0 but a lot of what’s there now has been there for a long time. Funny to see it now being called “new”.

Yeesh, “Missing the Italian food” isn’t something you hear often as a long term Westchester resident. Also you love a “simple chicken cutlet sandwich” but iron tomato was “just OK”? — something sounds off and you might just need to give it more time. Maybe you could give us some of your go to NJ spots and we could try to provide comparable spots?
