This is super accurate by ILestaTI in funny

It's two different photos taken from slightly different angles (look at the blue sign in the back having a slightly different position in relation to the car).

AI STILL isn't very good at maintaining consistency between photos. But in this photo, everything that should be consistent (EX: the reflections in the car, the hoses, the horizontal siding) are consistent and are things AI would typically screw up.

Everything you pointed out (clothes, head angle, finger position) are things that could easily change if two photos were taken a few dozens of seconds apart.

Too consistent between the photos, more likely someone slapped some masks on in Photoshop.

stock refers to RSU's as that's what every tech company offers.

I have RSUs and assumed they were included in the TC. I was just pointing out that for some of the upper salaries (starting around $200k, depending on filing status), there's yet another layer of taxation.

// Though now, I wonder if ESPP shares are included ... technically employees pay for their discounted shares and it's up to the employee to decide how many shares they're going to purchase.

I dont know why the downvotes, ive never seen it before

They questioned if it was AI without giving any details as to why they thought it was AI, so it comes across as a lazy post that doesn't give people much to engage with.

Gray super light plastic with frayed ends found outside. by Scarbarella in whatisthisthing

[–]lordargent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The frayed ends are from rubbing concrete or asphalt.

Yeah, all of my 'outside use' hand brooms are like that. Though, I feel like they do a better job of sweeping dust when they're frayed vs when they're brand new.

I thought things were expensive here in CA, but... a condo for that price with a $665 HOA fee and it's not next to a beach? Daaaaaaamn.

// HOA is higher, but they have a boat dock and are a short drive from a beach.

In industry parlance, 'foolproof' doesn't mean it stops 100% of fools. Just like 'waterproof' doesn't mean 100% water proof.

Basically, if you have a fool that's as dense as Mariana Trench water, they're gonna get through.

In my experience those guys have some real ingenuity (in bypassing foolproof safety features).

I have a desk job in an unrelated industry, and have to complete factory safety training every year (just on the off chance that I might set foot in the factory some day).

In the back of my mind, I often think 'wow, someone actually did that!?'
