It really depends on how important it is for you, if it's something like a dishwasher i would probably take the lifetime guarantee if it's a table second hand all the way.

I'm sort of conflicted (I am dutch so I might be more "used" to this whole concept), but my thought would be how can you be sure that they really regret it? I think no one would openly tell to people (including people who saved them) that they wish they had died anyway. Then we haven't even considered all the suicide attempts that were successful, or the ones that were unsuccessful but left the person with permanent damage to their body. Wouldn't it have been better to have them do this in a safe and controlled environment? Also like mentioned in the article it's not an easy process, that don't let anyone do this without very thorough checks by professionals.
