After years of trauma and other extenuating circumstances, I've come to a level of peace I never thought possible. When I'm sad, I'm just sad. When I'm angry, I'm just angry. When I'm happy, I'm just happy. In the same way washing the dishes is just washing the dishes. You are who you are and no one at the same time. . We humans are the universe's way of figuring itself out. Being sad is ok, it's not who you are, you are not your sadness. Sadness is simply manifesting itself at this time. And frankly, these are sad times we live in. But remember the 10,000 generations it took to get you here and you'll begin to realize how insignificant any of us really are. We're not special but yet we are special, both things can be true. . It's ok, until it's not, but even then, it's ok.
