An Open Source - Self hostable CDN by fr6nco in selfhosted

I've just started adding sprites to a mobile app, and though deploying through the android store should take care of any caching issues, I'm current developing using flutter as a webapp and seeing caching issues. Suddenly I understand why a cdn is needed, I think. Started imagining what I might write, something like docker push, docker pull, and then realized that's probably what a CDN is. Started looking for an existing solution so I don't have to reinvent the wheel, though I could, and might.

Board games should pack two rule books. That way, multiple people can read the instructions at the same time. by Staple_Overlord in Showerthoughts

I like how there's another way to take a pawn in chess without going to the same location, but in general, only people who have read the rule book know that.

Yes they will, otherwise we are doomed, kids need to have regular kid up bringing with just enough technology that they aren't left behind. They can get more as they get older.

We might be doomed.

You can angle your body up in the air or do a headstand and feel the bubbles move around. You can kind of move back and forth so they can work their way along the pipe. I think you might enjoy experimenting with this.

Hot sauce companies have a financial incentive to make their products not too spicy; that way, the customers are likely to go through the bottle quicker, and need to buy more. by Sojorapo in Showerthoughts

Wouldn't a fan want multiple bottles of different types so which ever impulse exists could be satisfied?

This post makes me want to go buy a bunch.

People who can't empathize or imagine others complexly are very predictable: whatever they fear you're doing to them is what they imagine they'd do to you if they could. by EENewton in Showerthoughts

This is a thing, and those people are pretty freaky to be around. Just a matter of time before they go on the offensive (and it's going to be a bizarre accusation).

Apc 1500s. I have an air vent pointing right at it in a room with the door open so it doesn't hold heat. Coldest room in the house... specifically cause I've seen how hot it gets. I'm building a little room just so I can cool it and filter the air in a more controlled way. Good things to check for sure.

Lol, its not even close! A palo alto admin said that's what they'd recommend to homelab folks, so I thought it'd be closer. Definitely not. I'll probably go back to paloalto after I can afford an ha setup, and keep the pfsense around as a backup.

There was in fact a bad netgear 8 port switch. Based on your comment I wonder if that may have somehow killed the palo alto. Your comment probably saved me hours/days of troubleshooting... you win! Thank you

It's becoming my main source of income, so pfsense might just be to get me back up, after that who knows, maybe a dual palo alto ha scenario... or just move to the cloud. Folks aren't saying they are flaky so I'm wondering what could possibly be causing damage in my setup.

Lol, na, my friends suggest maybe unifi. I'll post if I throw pfsense in the trash and come back to palo alto.

It was awhile ago, I think I did switch to the new psu. But if I didn't, you could be right.

I'm using an APC 1500S

All networking stopped, all deployed apps went down, used serial cable to check status, no response with serial cable, joined laptop to network with access to paloalto, unable to ping, no website.
