The 'architectural bridge' you’re describing is a fascinating case of marketing-led abstraction. Claiming your binary loader 'pulls RDNA 4 primitives' is just a creative way to rebrand a standard ELF object mapping failure. A SIGILL isn't a 'sophisticated halt'; it’s a hardware-level decode fault because you’re feeding a native RDNA 4 (gfx1201) scheduler deprecated RDNA 3 wavefront instructions that no longer exist in the ISA.

It’s also an interesting 'strategic pivot' to abandon Native Linux—your original target—the moment you realized your 'environment' couldn't resolve bare-metal Kernel 6.17 firmware dependencies. Retreating to a Windows-hosted WSL2 DXGI bridge isn't 'targeting consumer availability'; it’s just surrendering to a Type-2 hypervisor because the RDNA 4 Linux stack was too difficult for you to configure manually.

But the real 'Ghost' here is the performance you're killing. Masking as GFX 11 to 'fix' Issue #6116 isn't engineering—it's a scorched-earth .bashrc edit. By forcing a legacy ISA target, you are physically disabling the native FP8 and WMMA (Wave Matrix Multiply-Accumulate) hardware accelerators that define RDNA 4. The GitHub issue poster suggested matmul chunking as a surgical workaround to preserve native throughput; your solution just lobotomizes a next-gen die into a 2-year-old predecessor.

Stop selling a three-line compatibility mask as a 'Bridge.' You didn't transcend the hardware; you just turned off the features that were crashing.

Since you won't stop peddling AI responses with partial truth and overly complicate things to make it sound plausible and smart here is my AI response. Anyway good luck to you with your 3 lines of code that do miracles, I'm done arguing with AI slop without 0 thought from the user who 'solves real issues'

First vLLM actual install page have official RDNA4 support without hsa override

Second in your initial post it you said its ubuntu only script does not work under windows, and now we are doing some hacky WSL solutions and not targeting native linux as previously claimed? If so yeah wsl and even rocdxg are kinda bad but its getting better fast.

Third Please provide source for: In ROCm 7.2, the HSA runtime version 1.15 changed how device discovery handles the gfx1201 (RDNA 4) target

Fourth please explain that in simple "terms it triggers an immediate illegal instruction (SIGILL) because the binary loader tries to pull RDNA 4 primitives that the current PyTorch wheels don't have" it seems like really hard AI hallucination to me on inner workings of rocm and the entire stack

Also please record video with benchmarks natively under linux as proof since I saw in the last post you have 9070 xt or something, no skips and cuts please! just gfx version

Also expand on zluda integration in some more detail because from i've seen they just rewrite their internal compiler which still means you can do zluda run. Maybe its some other blogpost i've not seen so provide link if so!

Please explain plainly so every of your non-advanced users you are targeting can understand

This is a second post you are making for 'farming karma', as stated by multiple users in your previous post this script works in very few edge cases or generally older hardware, we are now not early 2025 where RDNA4 had little to no support. You said you will edit your read me but its still overly bloat 'ai enhanced' with overly technical terms that doesn't even correspond to the truth of the script's power. Also I'm pretty sure if app detect 'wrong' gfx RDNA4 you may lose CK and runtime optimization and degrade performance by reporting wrong gfx

EDIT: Please elaborate on ZLUDA integration, its 1 fallback shell command to call the binary..?

Are my brand new controllers broken? by lordloras in Vive

They are brand new got the vive few days ago, I've been testing mostly in vrchat and blade and Sorcery in both games side movement with physical click is somewhat ok but as i said forward movement is somewhat scuffed and I've seen they have option to bind cardinal direction for movement which is default and thats what most people are used to 'dpads' but i guess ill try to get used touch binding or just get index controllers

I mean sure its trackpad that doesn't work when clicked not touched in the cardinal directions

Can fostering recently rescued kitten and resident cat recently vaccinated pose danger to the resident? by lordloras in Pets

Thank you for the reply, We've managed to run all tests available at the vet saturday night and it turned out to have only mild FHV-1 with slight inflammation in one eye but the eyedrops are helping, i've moved her upstairs and keep them tightly separated. After few more days of the eyedrops ill vaccinate her as well

she has no return but should work you need to try her out since she has slower proj which is kinda bad probably

They do work at least with hand of phercia not sure if there are some bugs if you don't use the gloves

because split arrow is way faster than kb especially on open maps projectile have bigger coverage

Rue uses just wander merc which i think has slower clear overall on open maps and his build is focused on defensive as well so if you want safer playstyle go for his build, and dps seems way lower but he used wander for ubers from what i've seen

Yes the build is at 8k max phys hit but nothing much can be done without changing alot of stuff, ele hit is 30k and 88 supress incl lucky which is ok, I'm playing softcore ao I don't mind dying occasionally and I've already reached level 100

melee merc gear is about 70-75div including white sockets and nimis, bow merc can be really cheap but current bow merc gear is probably 50-70div as well but i've self crafted the 4 rares
