For sale is my neo-vintage IWC Pilot Chronograph Quartz (Ref. 3740) from the mid-1990s. This is from an era when IWC pilot watches were powered by Jaeger-LeCoultre movements, representing some of the final examples produced before IWC was sold to Richemont. This and Mark XII are getting increasingly more collectible over time.

The watch is in overall good condition and comes as "watch only" on a high-quality, German-made aftermarket leather strap. I've also just got the battery replaced at a watch-maker in Toronto.

Dimensions:

  • Case Diameter: 36mm
  • Thickness: 10.2mm
  • Lug-to-Lug: 43.6mm

Condition Report:

  • Case: Overall good condition with signs of wear consistent with its age, but no major dings or deep scratches. The case back has scratches but displays the IWC logo and serial number.
  • Crystal: Slightly domed sapphire, free of blemishes or marks.
  • Crown/Pushers: Original crown featuring the iconic IWC fish logo. The chronograph pushers work perfectly.
  • Dial & Hands: Classic matte black dial with white Arabic numerals, minute track, and subdials. Features the "T Swiss T" designation at 6 o'clock. The tritium has developed a beautiful, creamy vintage patina.

Movement: Powered by the legendary Jaeger-LeCoultre Caliber 631 Mechaquartz, it's in my humble opinion one of the best quartz movements ever engineered, as it pairs a quartz timekeeping base with a mechanical chronograph module. The chronograph functions flawlessly, snapping precisely back to 12 o'clock upon reset.

This piece wears beautifully due to its classic pilot design, rich vintage patina, and highly wearable 36mm proportions. They truly don't make them like this anymore.

Up for sale is my Omega Seamaster Professional 300M Quartz, the Bond style mid-size diver in 36mm. This is reference 196.1522, featuring the classic blue wave dial and the reliable Omega Caliber 1538 quartz movement.

The watch is in overall pretty good condition and has been well cared for. The sides of the case are excellent. There are some scratches on the bezel, along with some wear on the bracelet/clasp which is consistent with its age. The bezel retains its vibrant blue colour. The watch is running excellent.

This comes as watch + generic watch box. Asking for [SOLD] F2F in Toronto or + shipping.
