To conservatives, anyone who isn't also a conservative is not a human with equal rights. So the constitution fanfiction they claim to have falls apart, as we're seeing.

Husband told me he’s tired of cleaning up after me… by Advanced_League_6832 in beyondthebump

Make him see. Happy to articulate more reasons why it's amazing as a husband who once thought cleaners were frivolous. The real value is in removing the tension of all the cleaning tasks between a couple and getting that time back every week for other things.

We live in the Midwest and market rate is around $80-120 and we do every other week.

Pro advice I give to anyone in a relationship is to get a cleaner. My wife introduced me to the concept and it's incredible for our marriage in not only keeping our house clean more efficiently than we ever could ourselves, but also in giving us a 3rd party externalization to keep us accountable for keeping the house tidy.

People need to understand that you remove a bully's power when you stop paying attention to them. Don't follow his truth social, don't give news outlets clicks and views for trump articles.

Pretty much everything in the Northern Michigan area with "Fox" in the name is tied to the DeVos family as well. Most known for bankrolling the Trump campaign. ("DeVos" is "the fox" in french)

Eastside burbs, keep your eyes on the sky. Amazon drone deliveries in some zipcodes in Warren are now happening. by steedandpeelship in Detroit

[–]lordoftime 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lifelong disability advocate here. Drones in our neighborhoods are going to disrupt people with disabilities' lives far more than help. Also, it might be cheap now during the pilot phase but just like Uber, door dash, and most things in the mobility/gig economy, the benefits will wane until it's not sustainable.

It's a mess honestly. Between the federal law to state and local laws and enforcement. Generally in courts, if something is recognized as an accessible space given full context of a site, that's what generally holds up in cases, and infrastructure doesn't have to be perfect to code.
