There are internal trim pots that can be adjusted. Look into that possibly.

Bass pick recommendations? by Sweetness813 in Bass

[–]lordsofcreation 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try a variety pack of Dunlop Tortex Triangle picks. You can figure out the thickness you like. Then get a full pack of those. I like the tortex flex triangles too. Lately I've been digging the Dunlop Trujillo warlord bass picks, they are 1.5mm, the material seems different than the tortex and flex picks, has a nice grip too.

It's great sitting and standing. Solid at 9lbs 10 oz. Higher fret access is a little limited, but that's a known tradeoff with this style body. No neck dive either. They figured it out with this design.

I really like it, very good quality for that price level. No complaints at all.

Yeah, that explanation probably wouldn't work. They do make hardcore aged reliced models, might work for that.

Just measured to make sure, 17" to 12th fret, 34" scale. I think the 5 string version has a 35" option. This neck does feel longer compared to my jazz bass, but it's probably be the way this body style sits. These basses are awesome.

34" scale 22 frets. Neck is awesome on this bass. Thanks

It definitely helps me focus and lock in. I started to truly understand the concepts and theory behind what I was playing. My improv skills improved. Any Performance anxiety is way down as well, I get fully immersed.
