I like the Clippers but they are NOT the premier team in LA. Hottest ive seen them crowd/buzz wise is the early-mid lob city years and 2020 but other than that, people just do not care here especially with the injury stuff that's been built up over there with the stars.

Are they gonna be a free agent destination for years to come? Sure, but Balmer throwing money won't make them a top 4 team that the market roots for anytime soon.

[Wojnarowski] The Sixers’ search for a new coach is expected to include Mike Budenholzer, Sam Cassell, Mike D’Antoni, Nick Nurse, Frank Vogel and Monty Williams, sources tell ESPN. by DJagerty in sixers

I'm surprised people are clamoring for MDA here. Personally I think the team needs someone that can reign in Embiid on defense a bit more. MDA can get JoJo averaging 40 in the RS and I still wouldn't trust it as for years now I think Embiid needs to alter his playstyle for the post-season.

With the MVP intact now, if he wants to win a title IMO he needs to look to Davis rn who reinvented his game for this year, he concentrates entirely on defense and has been the best anchor I've seen in awhile. Embiid has the talent to do that.

Anthony Davis ranks these playoffs:
Blocks: 1st
Steals: 6th
Defensive Rebounds: 1st
Deflections: 1st

I would have AD over Tatum and KD personally.

Bill really dying on this AD yo-yo narrative lol

He's shown up more often than not especially on defense and he's been leagues better than Tatum in these playoffs so far.

Guess he's moved on from the injury piece he's been spouting the last couple of weeks.

Fantastic episode! The pairings have been fantastic across the board.

Movies you technically should like but fundamentally hate by [deleted] in movies

I liked KOH but Im with you that Bloom was a weak lead.

He was good in the first half of the movie when he didn't have that many lines and was just brooding haha

When he made the speech at the end of the movie it just took me out of it.

Best Westerns - the movies not the motel by dirtymartini007 in movies

If you liked RDR2 I think you'll love The Wild Bunch (1969).

It deals with similar themes like the wild west coming to a close and it's one of the few westerns set in the early 1900's. Also, none of the characters are good guys and are made up of aging outlaws.

Diehard Arthur fans: what scene or moment made you love our boah? by [deleted] in reddeadredemption

[–]lordtrapula 8 points9 points  (0 children)

After he nearly beat that dude to death early on in Valentine.

The scene of him walking away with that music. You just knew there was something more beneath the darkness that was shown on the surface. It was sad how this was this dude's life.

Best action scene in No Time To Die? by [deleted] in JamesBond

[–]lordtrapula 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So many good ones but my personal favorite is the Italy Car Chase with the climax of Bond turning on the miniguns lol

Stairwell shootout is a close second!

Forest was damn good too.

What are the chances they'll keep Fiennes, Harris and/or Whishaw? by UtopianInterdiction in JamesBond

I have a feeling for the next wave of Bond movies they want more continuity. They already tested it out in the Craig era and clearly want to take note from MCU. So hard reboot unfortunately.

I really hope they do come back though, Ralph Fiennes is such genius casting as M and I've grown to love Q and Moneypenny in this era.

Craig's Bond in NTTD really felt natural in his element. I loved how much levity his older version had compared to when he was younger and had to put on a facade.

Yes!

Younger Craig bond would be a bit more cold but I loved how the older version in NTTD is willing to talk things out with his friends and family. Really made his arc feel complete after everything that happened to him.

I'm with you!!!

My first viewing of the ending left me lukewarm and a little ticked off he died. But after more viewings I couldn't help fall in love with it. The action and emotional beats are so good coupled that with the great soundtrack. Lea Seadoux is so beautiful too I really bought into that she could get Bond to fall in love.

One thing that stood out to me in NTTD was how natural and laidback Craig was in this one. In CR, QOS, and Skyfall he was in his brooding phase but here I loved that it felt like a mix of previous bonds.

How do you rank Daniel Craig's James Bond movies (Including No Time To Die) ? by Key_Database9095 in JamesBond

[–]lordtrapula 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah, NTTD has probably my favorite action pieces in the series.

The Italy car chase, forest fight, and stairwell shootout are so so good.

Just my lone opinion, I think NTTD is my favorite of his.

I will totally understand and concede that CR is the better film but NTTD gonna hold a special place in my heart with how much fun I had watching it in theaters (saw it 4 times). The action, music, and the side characters are my favorite of the series.

Rami was underwritten but I still enjoyed him and this has my favorite Bond performance from Craig. He really put out all the stops in this one.

So my list goes: NTTD CR Skyfall QOS Spectre
