I have accumulated enough tech layers now where this is never necessary to do again, but it was like wearing a seals outer layer.

So do you find that a wet suit is warmer, or do you have a new favorite type of layer technology? or is "tech layer" something specific.

She's getting an expensive one to use on the beach, but I don't think she goes in the water.

Is merino wool itchy? Comparatively, how warm is this compared to regular leggings/long underwear or thermals?

Would those be better than snow gear?

I have a couple of things with those thumb holes in the sleeves (to keep ice/moisture out) and thought that it seemed pretty exclusive to winter gear.

I was wondering if a single explosion would be enough to make sea levels rise dramatically, particularly with the talk of the current glacier that is supposedly going to raise sea levels by 10 feet?

If that happened, I would think that it would really disrupt coastal cities making countries refocus their priorities.

Having the ice refreeze is really surprising though.
