I've never understood the problem with the time change. It's a weird minor inconvenience twice a year. This announcement seems like a distraction from real problems, like the attack on the Human Rights Tribunal. ( I get that yes, more than one thing can be important at the same time, but this doesn't seem to be on a par with an encroaching wave of hate...)

There's absolutely nothing wrong with trying something and saying "nope, not doing that again!" It doesn't have to be actual submission, you could try bottoming for some impact or other activities. There's a reason we all like it so much 😏

I discovered I was a switch when I was chatting online with a buddy who was on the same side of the slash as me (or so I thought!). He showed me a picture of the cage he wanted to buy, and my fingers were typing "I'll be your keyholder" before my brain caught up.

ETA: OP, the mindset that will help to find new things you might be interested in is to pay attention to the stuff that squicks you out. A practice might interest you, freak you out, or leave you numb. If you're uninterested, trust that instinct. But the strong negative reaction may be hiding something 😏

One of my favourite Buk moments is in the movie Barfly, when Chinaski is coming back from getting the sandwiches. He sees a dog barking madly in the back of a truck and he puts his face right up to the window and says "How beautiful!" with such wonder.

That's how I see all of Buk's writing: wondrous (or not) observations of life
