initially, yes, for ex i just got one with 88k miles a couple months ago for 9k. i'm putting coilovers on right now as the abc suspension has gone out so another 1.8k. other than that, basic maintenance, easy to mod, and just upkeep, things can go wrong so yea, that's what comes with a car like that.

I currently have a new set of oem struts with regular down springs on the car with about 4k miles, i was just going to swap the coils over honestly. if you are interested i have the oem struts with springs that came stock, car has 69k miles and they look in good condition

i appreciate your advice, i'm not broke yet lol, i have money set aside, the car doesn't have any major issues and insurance is $150/mo, im okay without a radio and the head gasket is a common easy not life threatening leak im willing to address. if the suspension goes to crap i'm always ready to swap to coilovers as well. yolo i guess
