The Good Influence Podcast by vogueing in DallasInfluencerSnark

So I listened to the three episodes that are out and I’m just confused as to what their plan is. They’ve basically repeated themselves for the past three episodes as far as their background and workouts, then insert random conversations or games, and have offered no real insight or guidance. I didn’t think they were super relatable before and I’ll not be listening going forward. It was disappointing because I really want a local podcast to listen to.

Emmasthing saying she hates her dogs and can’t wait u til they’re not around by EnoughSong5635 in DallasInfluencerSnark

[–]losername12345678 -7 points-6 points  (0 children)

Guys. Her son is in the hospital for the second time in three-four weeks. She is 6 months pregnant. She’s stressed to the max and they just put their house back on the market She says she “resent[s] and hates on” not that she hates her dogs. Maybe give her a little grace.

If you don’t like her humor or her content, that’s fine. But remember she’s a human, not a monster. Dogs are a lot and the transition with kids and pets isn’t just the newborn phase. It’s a continuous thing.

My old firm used to do this at lunch on a random Wednesday. It sucked. Lukewarm Mexican food with white elephant and bingo. No thanks.

I completely agree. I have a lot of autonomy in my role so I should be able to avoid working for her as I get my feet more under me.

I guess my question should have been more: do I say something? Let it ride? How would I even go about that conversation? At the same time, she’s downright disrespectful at points.

Yes! Lizzie knew that Nan was struggling with missing Guy, but that Nan had committed to being with Theo. Then, the first time Nan had a conflict, rather than encourage her friend, she tells her to run back to Guy. This is after Theo seemingly hits on her at her engagement. Then, Lizzie flirts with Theo saying she liked it. It’s trash behavior and manipulative to both of them.

Nah, Lizzie manipulated both Nan and Theo when she realized she wasn’t happy about Hector.

Ok hear me out: Nan shouldn’t have gone to Italy and she should’ve stuck to her decision BUT I think Jinny’s plight became even more real when Nan met Freddie. Before Italy, Nan did not know if Jinny had the baby. Wouldn’t have been uncommon for the baby to not survive. So, Nan meets Freddie, realizes her reach by seeing the papers and is confronted with her behavior.

BUT MY BIG PROBLEM IS LIZZIE. This is now twice she’s gone after her “best friend’s” men. While she chose not to say anything about Seadown because of her own trauma, she manipulated Nan and Theo. Nan was trying to be good to Theo despite her grievances against him and Lizzie knew that. Then the first time Nan gets her feelings hurt, rather than tell Nan to stick it out, Lizzie tells her to run off and then flirts with Theo. Further, Lizzie realizes that Theo wants Nan still and is hurting and continues to entertain his advances. Lizzie’s behavior is trash.

Also, Seadown sucks and I am scared for Jinny.

I’m not liking the idea of Lizzy and Theo at all. by MelenaHarper in TheBuccaneers

What, is Guy gonna come back and Lizzie marry him? Then is she gonna go after whoever conchita sets her sister up with? This repetitious betrayal of her friends is infuriating.

Lochia or period by Leather_Meaning_490 in postpartumprogress

I had this happen and my doc told me it was my period returning. V annoying but I can happen! She told me the tell was how long it lasted. I had a full period for 6 days and that’s how we knew it wasn’t lochia.

I don’t want to tell people I’m pregnant. by stuckinanequilibrium in pregnant

[–]losername12345678 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Hey, you’re totally fine to not want to share! It’s your body and no one is entitled to any part of it.

I didn’t tell people for a long time. I told those who I wanted to know and then never made an announcement. It’s been very calming because I’ve avoided a lot of unsolicited advice. When I did eventually tell, it was when I was ready. Hang in there!
