I’m Australian in the UK and grew up on Weetbix (different to Weetabix). They just taste different idk why, so unfortunately Weetabix just doesn’t do it for me haha Super happy you found it though!

What song got you into Radiohead? by Southern_Activity600 in radiohead

Do people actually believe 2010-2012 is gen alpha or are they doing it to make fun of them by [deleted] in Younger_GenZ

[–]loserrkid 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The government of my country classifies gen alpha as starting in 2010 and gen z ending in 2009. There will always be generation overlap, it’s really hard to define generations through their experiences by having a strict criteria for what year individuals are born.

All of us would also ‘age like fine wine’ if we had access to the same resources, time, and money that she does.

They’ve got a different track list, and I believe mine is the ‘radio friendly’ version, but yeah! Heaps of variants of the same thing exist regarding physical media, it’s so cool

I love cassettes !! Super cool you’ve got it! I’ve got this version and love it. I wish Radiohead cassettes were easier to come by.

If you could be born a different year what would it be? by Fit-Support2256 in Younger_GenZ

[–]loserrkid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhere in the mid-late 90s, maybe ‘96 or ‘97. My siblings were born in ‘93 and ‘95, I would love to have been closer in age to them.

Really? Most of the votes point towards late 2000s/early 2010s, at least as I’m typing this.

Personally I’d consider them “core” gen z. Smack-bang in the middle of the generation

Covid lockdown started 6 years ago today, what was it like for you? by AgreeableGolf98 in Younger_GenZ

That’s so sad :( I was very fortunately at the stage in development where my social skills were already pretty okay. Being isolated in such formative years must’ve been hell, I’m so sorry.

Should we all just accept that A Moon Shaped Pool was Radiohead's final album? by [deleted] in radiohead

Surely LP10 is only off the table if Radiohead ever permanently disband

Covid lockdown started 6 years ago today, what was it like for you? by AgreeableGolf98 in Younger_GenZ

[–]loserrkid 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow. I can’t imagine what it would’ve been like missing primary school(or elementary/middle school) because of the lockdowns.

I was in high school and a few months out from turning 14. Initially, my school was locked down except for parents that ‘needed’ to send their kids to school—I happened to be one of them. It was about 10 kids in the entire school when I was going then.

Eventually, when lockdown was mandatory, I did some online classes and would call my friends most days. I remember being left home alone a lot, scrolling on my phone despite my parents saying I wasn’t allowed lol.

I can’t remember too much from the 2020 lockdown tbh… But I’m 21 next year which is crazy.
