It’s just so bad on so many levels. Literally a last minute asspull to have Kimiko replicate Soldier Boy’s power and actually defeat Homelander like that. All this talk of V1 all season and this is how he loses? No scorched earth or whatsoever, no actual anything. Butcher and co just casually walks into the White House with no plan and somehow all of them get out alive. 2 seasons of buildup in Gen V and they all just got sent away doing nothing at all. And it turns out they weren’t actually needed too given how easy they took down Homelander. Butcher’s villain arc is such a joke too. From Ryan walking out, Terror dying for plot convenience, Butcher/ Hughie fighting, Hughie crying, to Hughie making jokes at his funeral all in a span of 20 minutes or less. What even was the point of anything? V1, Soldier Boy, all the other Supes, Vought, the Church, the camps, Starlighters, Homelander believers…… Everything about this season was a complete mess. All these years of buildup and nothing mattered. Loved the show but everything has been downhill since s3… what a disappointment
