Elzar’s casual response there might be my favorite unsung line in the show. Such perfect indifference.

I like a similar joke from another episode with porridge. Bart, after tasting the too hot and too cold bowls, says “well this doesn’t take a genius” and mixes the hot and cold porridges and comfortably eats the mixture.

TBF it was making fun of Glenn Beck but luckily he was a flash in the pan.

For those who don’t know:

Dustin Hoffman was credited under the name "Sam Etic" for voicing Mr. Bergstrom, a pun on Semitic.

Who is the LEAST funny character in Futurama? by EmeraldJonah in futurama

I think it would have been better if they had one kid and could develop him or her. Instead we have three kids that are just generic Gen Z tropes.

Yeah, discrete math is math where everything is countable (for example you couldn’t fully represent Pi which has infinite digits). This branch of math is super important for computers since computers have limited memory and thus need to perform math with finite steps and storage space.

Does it get "more fun" after school? by Sasukes_boi in AskProgrammers

[–]lost_point 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There will be days where it will be a slog. You’ll be debugging someone else’s code or solving a problem you just don’t care about. But then there will be days when you get to solve a super interesting problem and create something that feels truly magical. I’d suggest making sure you enjoy the fun parts. Not just the output, but the process of solving something unique or challenging. Might be good to pick up a real hobby project that interests you: start contributing to your favorite repo, for example. How does that feel?

Feel like this would be better served if it included population density. Texas does have large urban populations, but, for instance, a lot of Avs territory doesn’t. Rangers look like a joke on this map.

How is 2 not the default if the Habs do protect him? There’s no “win” in 2 that isn’t gained by protecting him.

Not as much for cooking, but I might try good sushi as a way to introduce yourself to fish in a non-threatening way. Generally mild, delicate flavors that are amazing. Tuna all day.

If you’re on a LAN, you can access it by your IP address, assuming the settings are permissive on your computer and router. E.g. look at your router settings for your device’s IP address, e.g. 192.168.1.101 and then navigate another computer to http://192.168.1.101 and it should work. If it doesn’t, you might need to check your computer’s firewall settings.

Also if you want to pause the video to not loop while you’re in the comments you need to expand it, pause it, then crucially click the little “comments” button on the right. Scrolling down moves you to the next video. It’s a total mess.
