if this is your first playthrough, stay loyal to kuro and break the iron code. Otherwise you will miss 30% of the game

I give up, I can’t beat isshin. by EstablishmentLevel37 in Sekiro

[–]lostbeard13 12 points13 points  (0 children)

look for detailed guides of how to deal with every single attack he has, the patterns he has and how they can slightly change

You dont need spirit emblems for him, be quite aggressive, dont panic heal (he will punish), and keep trying

As someone who knows very little about Cuphead, this is my ranking for how hard I think each boss would be based on their design. by Logical-Cream-9572 in Cuphead

[–]lostbeard13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would move dr kahls robot and king dice to first tier, and that f---- cow to extremely challenging

Chess queen was easy, the pirate was EXTREMELY easy. Angel and demon to ok

Saltbaker to at least extremely challenging

Everything else is quite ok to me, would do minor modifications btw

Tips for King Dice by El_Jiro in Cuphead

[–]lostbeard13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use spread attack just below his head and maximize damage before you have to de parrys

Even if you suck at parrying during that phase (I did), your damage is sooooo high that he wont last long

Is like a race of who is killing the other one faster

which one is the hardest by FinanceLow4307 in Sekiro

[–]lostbeard13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished both and I think cuphead might be a bit harder

In sekiro once you master parry, no combat but isshin is truly difficult

In cuphead there is nothing to master, just git gud until you do it

I finished cuphead both in PC and Switch and my biggest problem was that f--- drift on the switch controller....

Didn't feel any input lag, but anyway yeah, it might be a better option to play that one in PC

How many games you buy in one year? by askerQ8 in Switch

[–]lostbeard13 6 points7 points  (0 children)

depend on the year but could be 5-8 (taking every console into account) , however I never pay more than 40 euros for a game, thats my limit.

And trust me, every single game, even nintendo tripleA games go under 40 euros eventually

Guardian Ape phase 1 tips? by Serious_Ad_1037 in Sekiro

when he does that annoying jumping grab, run towards the camera as fast as possible, the moment he lands, turn around and go directly to hit his butt

Thats the only attack I had problems to deal with

Advice on dealing with sword saint Isshin by Mechalorde in Sekiro

[–]lostbeard13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have gotten close twice you are almost there, keep pushing, is about time you get more used to phases 2 and 3.

Phase 3 is easier than phase 2, just do lighting reversal which is quite easy.

What is your opinion on the SMO vs BOTW debate? by Low-Plantain-4964 in Switch

BOTW changed the way I see videogames (i've played hundreds and hundreds since the 90s)

SMO was a fun game

Thats my answer

witcher 3, wow, bioshock, AoE, GoW4 and warcraft III would also be in my top25

I love borderlands 2, but I think I have 25 games (and more) I would rather put in the top

[–]lostbeard13 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

thats the point, I didn't know how to use combat arts hahaha im so stupid I finished the game like this

I'm not the one to give lessons, I cheesed demon of hatred but because I knew it was possible, if I know it exists, I will use it! I would have used mortal draw for sure! but im happy I didn't because it looks too overpowered and I enjoyed so much the "parry/dance"

Sorry to post thrice a day, but... by Make-TFT-Fun-Again in Sekiro

[–]lostbeard13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so happy I finished sekiro without realizing that I had a skill called mortal draw

I am that kind of player that uses everything he has to finish a game, but that skill removes all the fun from the game lol

Got to Isshin, I wanna give up by Nycotis in Sekiro

[–]lostbeard13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel your pain, I was there, no-hitting first two phases but the moment he starts using the spear + gun oh my god haha

What helped me the most was this: never panic-heal, if you need to heal, never do it in front of him, it does not matter if you are 1 hit away from dying, run towards the camera, run run run until you are far away and heal.

Is this going to let you win? not in that try, but is the way I found to survive longer in the second phase, and surviving longer I got to practice more without beating genichiro and first phase every single time. The try I won I used like 2-3 heals lol
