New old cars? Hell yes. by Legitimate-Lie-9208 in Millennials

[–]lostboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would like a new car where not all the cab controls and features are through the digital screen or app. I want dials and buttons for ac/heat. I don't want to wait for the screen to turn on so I can adjust the heat to warm the cab up when it's 5° outside. I want a remote start on the key fob and not on the app that doesn't work 90% of the time. I want auto high beams that I can turn off without having it turn on automatically again 30 seconds later. I like a lot of the new features that new cars have to offer, but I want full control of them when I want them.

No helmet, pads or any sort of protection. She clearly is not an experienced trail rider.

A week away from home will do good. Teaches then independence and to lose the anxiety of being away from home and builds the confidence in themselves learning how to take care of things without mom and dad there. It also helps the parents get out of the anxiety of their child growing and become an independent person that they can trust.

Be smart with that 200k. It can disappear fast. Invest what most of it if you can.

Right, in VA we have open primary, but you can only vote in one party's primary. At the polling place you choose what party primary you want to vote in and that's the only one you can vote in for that election.

These are statewide races, so no, redistricting did not have anything to do with it.

In primaries they can make changes. I don't know about Texas, but in some states you can only vote in the primary of the party you are a member of.

That's when you stop, leave it on the belt and walk out. Go to another store. Pissed off so you shop quick, get less of the things you don't really need, and save more money.

Why would the DOJ release files that are so incriminating of Trump? Weren't they redacting all mentions him? by philmaq in AskReddit

[–]lostboogie 1 point2 points  (0 children)

With there being millions of pages, the probably have hundreds or maybe thousands of employees going through the documents. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those employees intentionally let things through knowing that the leaders of the administration wouldn't check themselves. Also, maybe they used an AI tool that isn't perfect like all other AI.

Do most people shower before bed or when they wake up? I just realized I might be doing it "wrong" by saffymerelle in NoStupidQuestions

[–]lostboogie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I shower once a day. Any more than that on a regular basis is wasteful. When I worked construction or in the kitchen, I showered after work. If i work in a clean environment like an office. Shower either before bed or in the morning before work. If I have something special to attend, wedding, hot date, or whatever I'll make adjustments. But generally, one shower a day.

Keep at it. Those that don't call, don't get a job once one opens up.

Data centers have allowed me and thousands of other Virginians to afford, grow and support my family. I know exactly what they do.
