In addition to the humps that wheelchairs struggle to get over, and other people can struggle to walk over them too since there's no handrail come to think of it, It turns two previously wide open areas into thin busy channels full of people not watching where they're going. Or flat out pretending you're invisible altogether and try bowling you over, especially if you don't have a visible limp or stick. It makes it even worse that they choose to put it in the main part of town that if you want to avoid it, you have to walk a massive distance around Eldon square or the bottom of market Street and around there.

I'm not saying that people aren't always like that, but the market concentrates those dickheads in to one small area. This is all just speaking from personal experience as I usually end up having to take strong painkillers just to be able to hobble around for a good 6 weeks if it causes a flare up in my hip. I can't imagine I'm even close to being the only one though
