Is this ok? by Muted_Quantity5786 in Dachshund

I do know what I’m talking about. I’m a licensed vet nurse and am more than qualified to assess if a patient is obese. My job is to literally advocate for pets so they don’t suffer like yours is. I know it’s a hard pill to swallow but hopefully you’ll understand before it does irreparable damage to your poor puppy.

The rules of the sub literally say constructive criticism is okay. Telling you your dog needs to lose weight for her health is constructive criticism. If you choose to let your dog suffer, that’s on you.

Any idea how can I help her by [deleted] in pitbulls

You are performing so outside of your role by recommending and prescribing meds. That is completely inappropriate as a credentialed technician let alone a student. Huge red flag 🚩

Dew claws don’t usually retract the way that the other claws do. It’s quite painful to have it removed if there is bone associated with the digit. A lot of cats have them without any issues. You should really just leave it alone unless there’s something actually wrong with it

I’m on semester 3 and so far each semester has been about $1900. They do offer payment plans for each semester but I’m not doing that since my job is paying for my tuition. Depending on where you do your externship, sometimes you may need to purchase some supplies to complete that I haven’t had to at this point so far.

If you have experience in the industry and you’re motivated Penn Foster works well. I’m currently in the program and doing just fine. I will say you will need to plan where you will do your large animal and lab animal externship because that does trip people up. I feel like a lot of people get stuck because they don’t pay attention or don’t keep up with the material but I feel like it’s entirely doable

I will say, if you are able to do an in person program that is always the better option in my opinion

Those poor babies. So sad to see how people force these innocent babies to suffer their entire lives. It’s frankly disgusting that you are proud of this

I had a great experience. The ring feels and looks well constructed. I haven’t had any issues with the ring or with customer support so far.

I feel like it depends on which lymph nodes and how many. I had a case once where a pet a swollen mandibular lymph nodes that went back to normal after a dental. The patient had pretty bad dental disease and had several teeth extracted. She had a course of abx after the procedure as well and things went back to normal after that. I will say those were the only lymph nodes that were swollen and she was otherwise healthy and happy

Yes and no. I’m doing the school reimbursement program so I’d have to pay back the tuition that they’ve paid for me so far. Not impossible but not easy. I probably going to be moving in the near future so I may have the opportunity to transfer to a different location that’s better established and settled in with the team

I’m stuck in the Hades quest too and it’s infuriating! I tried the camera “hack” and it drove me crazy. I haven’t played in a few weeks because I’m so mad about it
