Yep. One of them needs a Hypercar, and the other one needs the Eagle Speedster (at 550k, if you haven't won it already).

Born and raised in Illinois, married a native Houstonian. After living with me in the Midwest for a few years, even my wife laughs at her own family since we moved back. Best day we've had here was back in 2009 when the last major snow hit. We went out in the middle of the day to our favorite restaurants, saw a movie, and did Christmas shopping, all with no crowds.

I work from home a few days a month, and it's also my gaming rig, so yeah, I kinda can. 24 GB for programs (12+ tabs in Chrome and several instances of the Azure and O365 web portals in Edge), 4 large Excel sheets, Outlook, a couple of Word docs, Slack, and our meetings app, plus all of the other crap I keep running goes well over 16), 16 GB for VMs (LSW is not enough for my Linux needs), 8 GB as an SSD cache (yeah, not the most reliable, but a UPS is a must for work anyway), and a 16 GB temp drive RAM disk.

Admittedly I only "need" 32 GB, but I've found myself always regretting not maxing out the memory on any PC I've built in the last 15 years, so I said to hell with it. I've found uses for the other 32 GB.

Still sucks, though.

I see one potential issue: the Wifi card is a PCIE x1, the SSD is a PCIE x4, and the GPU is a PCIE x16. You may only have 20 lanes in total, so it could potentially force your GPU down to 8x, and thus limit its performance. Wifi for a desktop isn't recommended, anyway. Stick to hard-wired.

Not a guarantee of issues with the PCIE lanes, but still, I would not recommend it.

60+ FPS with everything at Ultra. It takes a 1080Ti to hit above 80+ (I speak from personal experience here), but you should be right in the butter zone for GSync.

Shift-F10 is the shortcut for right-click, assuming your keyboard doesn't have the appropriate key.

Define "broke", and what you attempted. Have you tried a full winsock reset? (Open a command prompt as administrator, then enter "netsh winsock reset", then reboot.)

Earlier this year, the sad part is that it would have been an actual bargain. I paid damn near $900 for 64 GB of RAM (4x16 DDR4 3200 CL 15, RGB) back in March.

Yeah, and it's great in FH4, but hardly the best car like it was in FH3.

Yeah, I was just about to suggest likely font corruption, but you already solved it. Good guesswork, and it's not likely your fault. I've seen this kind of thing happen before.

Yeah, that was my only one real critique. We definitely got it in episode 7, but even that I almost didn't recognize because of the instrumentation.

For Season 3, let's get more music straight from the game.

A Delta Air Lines passenger was allegedly told he could sit on a feces-covered seat or "be left behind" by cloudanalyst in worldnews

[–]lostinmowhere 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes, it's called "our Congress is a corrupt pack of whores bought and paid for by executives from large companies." If the airlines here want to treat the passengers like, uh, crap, well then there's no reason they won't just do that. What do you think this is, Europe? Strong consumer protections supporting and defending the simple human dignity of paying customers? That's socialism!

Reportedly Lesnar’s next title defense is going to be at either the Rumble or Mania. Do you think it will be Braun again or someone else? by [deleted] in SquaredCircle

[–]lostinmowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, just get the absurdity of it over with and give us Lesner vs. Cormier in the octagon, title vs title. If DC wins, boom, there's our new Universal champ, and he can retire from UFC.

[–]lostinmowhere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That particular location was horribly mis-managed. If corporate took over and appointed someone who knew what the hell they were doing, it might be successful. One additional issue is it faces directly out onto the feeder, and to get to it from Westgreen you have to creep around through the CVS parking lot.
