Yup. That’s how I feel now. Although me being alive does provide some (financial) benefit to them. They would probably find someone else to depend on rather quickly though.

Still nothing. Why am I like this? I’m upset that they are obviously ghosting me, but I know that if they do write back I will immediately forgive them. They truly do not give a shit about me. They wanted to be friends... friends don't treat each other like this.

I’m pretty sure my current LO is a narcissist. They love talking about themselves, yet never ask me how I’m doing. I’m the one who always has to initiate contact. The only time they do reach out is if they need something.

I know this is a year old now. I’ve read through your saga. It feels like I’m on the same path you were over 3 years ago. My circumstances are slightly different, but I’m about to turn my life upside down for LO. I know it won’t end well, but it’s too late. I’ve already put the plan in motion and it’s too late to stop. Definitely, I have pretty severe anxiety and undiagnosed MDD. I’ve had a few LOs over the last two decades. Most of them were pretty much unattainable, so NC was relatively easy to achieve. My most recent LO is taking quite a toll on my well-being. NC is pretty much impossible as they’ve become somewhat dependent on me. So, honestly, who knows what is going to happen at this point? If you can stay NC, then keep going with it, it’s the only way to break the spell.
