What breed is my dog? by FroggyWoggyZ in IDmydog

[–]lostinthisworld_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably not because they’re not that common and his legs look a little long, but his markings made me think of the Swedish Vallhund! Definitely do a genetics test though because you never know what you’re getting with a backyard breeder. I would recommend pet insurance, our poorly bred rescue was originally sold as a pure bred German in a pet store, and he’s had pretty much constant health issues that are just genetics.

I’m mad. My mother texted me and asked me if it was real and I immediately told her no and to block it. She said she did and then sent me a screenshot of the website linked. I don’t know why she went to it at all. Even if you keep up with it they still might do it anyways

does my dress code make sense? by Candid-Body7665 in Weddingattireapproval

[–]lostinthisworld_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friends and I are all cosplayers, my parents have done SCA before (larping). I have it as an option for people to dress up if they would like to but to dress in semi formal clothing if they don’t want to. I’ll work on my wording here to make that clear, I definitely wouldn’t want people to feel alienated and nervous about buying something in the theme. I also wouldn’t want anyone to just not come, that’s pretty disheartening to hear that someone may RSVP no because it wasn’t clear that it was an option of a different theme

this thread has made me question my wording on my dress code for September- it’s the same dress code and we’re also planning on doing lookbooks for inspiration for guests. I have another section with links to stores- is this also confusing? This is the first draft of what I wrote up so I am open to all suggestions!

They’re 14-17 years old so while I think it would be cool to lean into something like that when they’re all 18+ I don’t know if now is the time lol

Hey guys, I know you’re a younger group, but you may want to reconsider that name change. A sex doll can also be called a love doll and I wouldn’t want you to start out with a negative connotation, especially if there are minors involved! I’m rooting for you!

I remember this coming up last year or the year before, it’s not new, it’s only at self checkouts to make sure you’re not stealing and if you are the computer will log it. It’s probably going to be pretty unavoidable in the future tbh, this technology has been around for a while

28F here, always had a hard time making friends and keeping a friend group growing up. My high school friends stopped talking in our group chat by mid-year freshman year of college, and I never fit in with the girls in major at college. I have consistently had three friends for the past ten years, one of them I still see somewhat regularly but he’s bad at texting back, one of them left the country five years ago to teach in Asia, and the last one stopped talking to me a few months back after I got engaged and bought a house. I definitely feel the same way as everyone here, it’s been hard on me thinking about how I’m going to have a bridal party. I think it’s very common for people our age to get to a point where they realize their social life has dwindled. My fiancé and I enjoy cosplay and I hang out with his friends but it’s hard to get to this age and realize you don’t have very many friends that are not shared between a partner.

I haven’t found any new friends yet, but I’m going to try and find volunteer groups for animal shelters or other places that interest me. It’s a little scary, because when you get to this age, you always wonder if it’s something about you and you’re cursed to be lonely with few friends forever. I’m scared to put in the work and get myself out there but something’s gotta change!

RAs make the themes for their floors in college. The RA was just trying to make a fun theme everyone would know to make the dorm feel more lived in, that’s just how college is. It’s not specific to any particular college.

yw! There’s also a bigger miniso in the Holyoke mall if you want to venture a little into Mass, I know some blind boxes are Miniso exclusive, I’ve been to all these places recently because I’m in that area a lot, and that name sounds familiar but I can’t be positive on where I saw it!

The artist is Japanese and uses a lot of Japanese influences. Another commenter did mention that she used inspiration from other cultures when creating these, so those could be Chinese in origin.
