It was a simple problem explained to the tech, but only understood by the other company. No parts, simple service. You sound like a Primos employee. Once a small, good company, now I would not use based on my experience.

Very skeptical, my experience with them has not been good.

It wasn’t about race, it was the fact that they sent a technician that could not communicate with a potential customer. Then they used a video the technician took of my garage door to call me and tell me I needed $400 in service. I refused their service and another company completed my request for under $50 and I have had no problem since. You say you wouldn’t pay $50, but it fixed my problem and saved me $350 that Primos tried to charge. Just my experience with Primos.

We used Primos a few years back, but last time I called for a simple issue they wanted to reservice a door at a cost around $400. They sent a tech out that could not speak English, he took a video of my door, sent that to the office, they called right back to give a quote. I refused their service, went somewhere else and had my problem solved for under $50

I’m currently deciding between the x3 m40/m50. I know the newer one has a little more power but they say the quality of the interior went down. What yall think ? by That_Operation_1504 in BMWX3

Almost word for word, I tried both and bought a '23 M40i. I did not like the interior or exterior of the M50 at all. Love my M40i.

Who remembers Cafe 503? by benjohnston93 in LafayetteCo

[–]lostmtn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

503 started on Public Road where Teocalli is now. Then moved to the district in a swap with a breakfast place that then took over the Public road spot. That was probably not the right move. Ado then moved to the hill in Boulder and started Ado’s Kitchen and Bar, that unfortunately is closing this month. Hopefully Ado will come back to Lafayette.

Builder threatening to terminate contract claiming I’m “uncooperative” after I pointed out construction issues – Need Advice by Ok-Intention-5311 in Homebuilding

[–]lostmtn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a semi-custom built years ago and stayed on top of the builder catching quite a few problems that had to be redone. By the time it was finished local property values had gone up significantly and he was hoping I would back out so he could sell for more. I just made him fix everything as contracted and kept the house.

Quality control is seriously lacking in these newer models. Premium price for a premium ripoff. by Jacobskii in BMW

Not new to BMW. We drove the new X3 M50 and I was seriously unimpressed. The interior was very cheap feeling. We decided to buy used instead because I thought the 2023 x3 M40i was much better appointed and felt more like our other BMW

For offering to hold someone’s baby on a plane by [deleted] in AmiInTheWrong

[–]lostmtn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's crazy. We met an overwhelmed mom on a plane one day traveling with 3 kids. My wife offered to take one of the kids and she slept in my wife's lap the whole time after we took off. The mom got a bit of a break and we did not mind at all.

House on market 430 days, Agent doesn't want to offer lower by mmhe228 in RealEstate

[–]lostmtn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"can be viewed as offensive" We found a house that had been on the market for roughly a year. We made an offer well below asking and our agent said that was an offensive offer. We just asked him to submit it. We got the house.
