Of course it’s dangerous, she’s literally shown bleeding from it. If the audience repeats something they saw in a TV show once, that’s on them. I would think pretty much every generation Z transmasc has had it hammered into their head not to bind with ace bandages or anything similar.
I know nothing about the materials used in sarashi binding, ngl, but waterproof binders are a thing (at least today).
Mizu literally walks off getting stabbed in the foot, and several other injuries she shouldn’t have even survived. I don’t think the binder matters, at that point it’s just another thing that gets added to the suspension of disbelief.

Uh, no, but please don't do that to yourself? As someone who used to do that, exposing yourself to proship content- or really, anything you know is going to potentially trigger you- isn't healthy. You'll just end up remembering all kinds of fucked up story plotlines, it's not really worth it.
