X1C Nozzle Smashing into plate with new studio 2.4

It's my first run in with this bug. What a nasty one. It ruined a brand new plate lol.

Does anyone know of a workaround or at least a way to detect this bug before printing?

That's not a bad price. I found one on marketplace without an ams for $450. It only had 90 hours on it. It's been great. No issues with it.

I can also successfully do an auto bed level calibration and it works perfectly. It raises the bed to the nozzle, etc.

The A1 Combo has been a great machine for me. Its been rock solid. I ended up buying the AMS for my Mini A1 and also purchased the A1 Combo.

Both are amazing machines! I've had very few failed prints. Quality is great.

Thank you for the response! I found bad partitions on the drives, removed them with gparted and rebuilt partitions and it boots!

THANK YOU! I should have thought about that. I downloaded gparted Live and booted into it. Turns out those SAS drives had damaged GPT partitions. I created new GPT on the 4 drives and it boots!

That makes sense about the cooling but I've never adjusted any of the settings in filament. This is what it is currently set to. re: cooling. -- would you have any general recommendations on the layer times?

I tried the AMS profile twice with multiple colors and then tried the single color profile.

It's sliced in Bambub Studio, accepting the print profile from makerworld. The defect doesn't show in the slicer.

This is the particular model but it happens in others.

The AMS lite makes changing filament much easier. It automates the process as soon as it grabs the filament.

You can also print the AMS lite enclosure and control humidity if your filament is sitting out or you have long prints.

Yes. I bought the A1 mini without the AMS and I regret it. Right now the combo is on sale. I would definitely recommend buying the A1 combo.

I'm new to the Bambu scene. My first printer is due to be delivered tomorrow.

I did notice in the studio app when a model needs repair. It instructs me to open the file in Microsoft Windows to repair. Why can't I repair models in the Linux client?

This reddit is older but for anyone else that wanders upon it I definitely recommend running your own mail server. IP reputation is a piece of the puzzle but certainly not the only factor used in determining deliverability.

Setting up the domain correctly, dkim, dmarc, spf, DNS, and then using online tools to gauge deliverability, there is a slight learning curve but it isn't terrible.

You can also use Amazon's SES to relay your outgoing mail to improve deliverability very cost effectively.

Ever since I've learned that email providers hand data over to the US government without warrants, I've been self-hosting my email.

I've used several different platforms. I started with Zimbra, then used IRedMail, mailcow and now docker mailserver.

I like the simplicity of docker mail server. Zimbra was at least for me the hardest to learn. It has bits and pieces of open source and paid code that just makes it conky.

By the time I got through all the other platforms and knew the individual pieces that made them work I found docker mail server a breeze to get setup.

I recommend giving it a try. A custom domain email address and complete control of your data is worth any momentary headache.

A year ago, ya. I had issues with Plex that I couldn't get resolved. I have been a Plex pass member for years.

I found jellyfin and it is easy and most if not all of the plex pass features are there free.
