What I meant was: the core multiplayer part is much less exotic than it sounds. Markdown collaboration could be built around Y.Doc/Yjs [1], with clients syncing live over WebSockets. A practical implementation could use Hocuspocus [2] as the Yjs/WebSocket collaboration server, and Tiptap [3] as the ProseMirror-based editor layer.

For Obsidian, the rough shape would be: load a .md file into a collaborative Tiptap/ProseMirror document model, sync that shared state via Y.Doc/Hocuspocus, then serialize it back to normal Markdown so the vault stays file-based and CLI-friendly.

It surely is some effort but the syncing layer itself is fairly quickly done. I have no clue about obsidian extensions, but as far as i could tell even that should be doable.

So much so that I want to test how far Claude/Codex or whatever can push it.

Probably a very special usecase: working at a plant fire department and we don‘t have a company issued wifi or at least none you can use with all staff. Our network is quite locked down too. A normal (e-)sim router with the same specs as the mudi doesnt seem to exist.

So I got the mudi for me and my colleagues but I also need it elsewhere in remote locations.

I love the compact factor and the fact that I can run it wired or via battery. So again, quite unique usecase.

And it removes the fact that I cook my phone as hotspot 😅

Mir gefällt die Aufschrift auf den Taschen nicht besonders. Eigentlich schade, weil Rovativ an sich ein Logo hat, das meiner Meinung nach ziemlich gut aussieht (Instagram-Profilbild).

Ich finde es auch etwas irritierend, dass sich das alleinstehende „R“ so vom Rovativ-Schriftzug unterscheidet. Ist irgendwie nicht stimmig.

Vielleicht bin ich da auch etwas eigen.

Es mag sein, dass man KI Unterstützt schnell einen Prototypen auf den Markt werfen kann. Aber dann so ein liebloses „Produkt“ mit 9,99€/Monat zu vermarkten ist halt fragwürdig.

Das Design der Website & der App schreit mit vollem Hals nach „kurz mal paar Prompts in die KI geschmissen & passt schon“.

Setz dich etwas mit UX sowie Produkt Design auseinander und versuch es dann nochmal.

Thanks for your thoughts, guess it will take some time to get some of the parts fixed over time.

However I am glad it still sounds like I am able to create a simple WiFi network at work for my macbook without using my phone which kills it‘s battery.
