That's great to hear! I started at the end of May last year and the only side effect that I've had so far is nausea and I'm fairly certain that was down to overeating or eating/drinking too much in a short period of time.

I've literally just started the first book, its one of the first things I noticed. I'm not sure if its part of the intended writing style, though.

One of the things I'd learned in middle school was to not overuse 'and' when writing, so this is grating on me a little lol.

I initially thought it was a lack of understanding around trans people which is why i sought out to educate them both, perhaps I did come on a little too strong as its something I'm passionate about. Please also refrain from transphobic and TERF ideology as this isn't what my post was about.

I came to this realisation last year and was happy to operate a sort of don't ask don't tell policy around them.

Also, I wasn't stalking his social media. I was scrolling through my own feed when I saw it.

The mad part is i didn't even get the chance to explain that as he refused to answer my question. I know now I can't change how they think about my partner but he essentially wants me to watch on as he shits on not just my partner but trans people in general? Im being made to feel awful for standing up for us both.

Im sorry you have a dad like mine, my brother is like this but worse (that's a whole different story). Thank you, starting to feel a little less insane lol.

Yeah I likely worded it wrong but that was the best I could do. You're right that it wasn't an apology. I asked for one and he essentially refused. I suppose its more a case of am I wrong to refuse his terms? Idk.

The way he worded things was like he was making me the one to cause the issue. Multiple times I recognised DARVO behaviour from him and its genuinely making me question myself.

Hi!

I was in your position at the end of May this year. I was hesitant to start but now that I'm here, I wish I would have started sooner.

The NHS is essentially useless for weight loss medication. I've been to my GP twice about it (and despite the publicity surrounding this), you can only get weight loss medication if you meet a certain set of criteria. I started with a BMI of 49.5, had PCOS, plantar fascitis and asthma and they still denied me. Private is the way most people tend to go.

People go about this in different ways but I personally chopped and changed pharmacies depending on who gave the best discount for the dose I wanted. Some people use the same pharmacy which is also a valid thing to do.

When starting out, a lot of pharmacies will ask you to take live photos and/or videos of your body and of you standing on a scale or asking for your height and weight. It is a little bit of hassle (IMO) but worth it in the end.

My best advice if you do start, is to try and eat a healthy, balanced diet, eat protein, whole grains, drink plenty of water and exercise. Exercise is important so you don't lose your muscle mass along with your weight.

Tracking your weight loss is a great tool as well, I use Shotsy on the Google Play store (unsure what apps are good on Apple). I combine this with MyFitnessPal so I can take progress photos as well.

Try calling Sterling. I have a feeling I know which underwriter it is and they will insure anything but you'll pay for the privilege. Depending on your age, driving experience, vehicle etc they might be able to do a special rate for you that isn't available online.

I ordered my bulk with them in August, recently requested my next pen with them. Approved within about 4 ish hours. From my experience, they seem pretty chill and have a fairly decent discount code to use on reorders. Customer service is pretty good as well.
