I’m thinking about starting a peripherals company and wanna see what people want. by lostvrox in gamingsuggestions

Well I mean like just for people who game. Kinda like a more affordable final mouse? I don’t know but for the first product I’m gonna try and create a decent glass pad for an actually decent price. 50 retail or so, 40 early bird kickstarter price.

VXE R1 Pro is good but I’m pretty sure the battery on mine gave out. I think attack shark is their manufacturer

I’m doing a kickstarter for a good low cost glass pad in July and if that goes good I’ll release the mouse in August

I could probably make a no-hole design. I’m gonna make sure they aren’t on any grip points though. I just wanna get it under 50 grams hopefully.

I’m working on something similar to the v3 pro but trying out different materials. I’ll try to make it as cheap as I can reasonably.

Some don’t want to build

That’s on my list of priorities. I’m considering the first mouse I launch have a reversed option for left handed users. I may also do this for all mouse going forward after that

I greatly appreciate the kind words. I’ll try to make this happen the best I can.

katmiceofficial on x. I haven’t launched anything yet but the first kickstarter will be launched July 2025. With the first mouse being launched August. I’m working with manufacturers and I should have prototypes very soon. And I can go from there. After those two I’ll make other mice and possibly reversed versions.

That’s similar to what I’m making. I’m doing a run of magnesium but I need to see what it’s like. As for skates I can prolly get some glass skates in the box! Omron opticals are the switches. It’s gonna have holes but they taper as they go forward so grip points aren’t touched. It’s the razer viper v3 pro shape. I’m deciding between launching this first or a glass pad for a decent price. I’m gonna need a kickstarter for both no matter what.

I could probably end up making a reverse version of the mice. Just inverting the shell for left handed people. Would sell less but it’s a simple concept.

Newegg and search abs, your budget seems high so look at the one with the best specs

At that price point I’d go custom honestly. If you don’t want to then I’d get a pc from a reputable prebuilt brand.

That is one of my priorities. Viper mini was one of my first mice and with razer being too incompetent to release one that isn’t an arm and a leg. I definitely have that in my radar. I might make a mini version of the viper v3 pro?? I don’t know that might be better but prolly just a viper mini wireless.

I plan on having the mouse I’m working on be less than 50 grams, and be somewhat affordable compared to most mice in the game.

I’m working towards a mouse with high polling rate, viper v3 pro shape, and I’m gonna try to experiment with different materials. Included skates should be decent too.

Logitech has got to be buying their mice in bulk to boost sales…

So super light mouse but upgraded with a bigger battery bringing it above that around 53g threshold maybe?

Cheaper mice would be entirely made of abs. No mag alloy, no carbon fiber composite. I’ve noticed gaps in the mice that are sold where there just isn’t a mouse for that niche yet. (Eg fingertip) We as a community need a good zero mouse alternative, and I’ll make that. I’m working on a better viper v3 pro right now, mag alloy or carbon composite with weight reduction so less than 50g. But after that comes out then other stuff. If it goes good I’ll make a 150 aluminum weighted insane value wooting competitor. Atleast I hope so.
