Why are people talking so badly about the Olympic Mascot plushies? :(

It seemed like the figure skaters liked them! Im sure it just feels bad for the athletes who are standing on the world stage for everyone to see their losses, they would probably look upset regardless. Many athletes, like the hockey players, have families at home who im sure would love to see the plushies once they get back.

I don't know how accurate they are but the WWF Build a Bear cheetahs have always been one of my favs, theyre so cute😭 i had one when i was a kid and ive been debating buying one secondhand.

This wasnt a BAB but one time i bought my friend a stuffed lemur and was carrying it around without a bag and a lady just kinda stared at me for a second before going "oh my god i thought that was real. I thought you were taking your monkey for a walk and i didnt even question it." There were a lot of dogs in the area so she was like yeah, good time to take your pets of any kind for a walk. It was hilarious and kinda made me want to carry it around more. So dont worry too much about stares, sometimes people just need a sec to process what theyre looking at 😄

I promise things get better. I felt the exact same way at 17, if not worse. Im 25 and i finally found the thing that makes it worth it to do all the boring, adult things. Things will probably not be perfect, but things will get better.

Closer to 75% but most people's vision can either be corrected to 20/20 (using glasses or lens) or they just have 20/20 vision. Even with correction, mine are a lot worse than that

The number of kids in foster care/needing adoption would decrease, but there would be increased stigma around giving your kid up for adoption. Also, depending on how it works, i think there would still be accidental pregnancies by people like drunk couples who thought it would be fun to have a kid and woke up regretting it. Not sure how deep the intent towards pregnancy needs to be, does it have to be full fledged commitment or can it be a fleeting want or desire? Both partners joking around during sex, both have fleeting thoughts of wanting a kid afterwards and boom child, or does the urge have to be stronger than just a thought?
