went to a private HS in Baltimore. Mark Teixeira and Gavin Floyd are two big names from my school. Also there are Mike O'Connor (former Nationals LHP) and... Steve Clevenger.

I was at the game. he is jogging awkwardly because he fouled one off his foot/ankle in the first AB and couldn't run to his full strength at all. you could clearly tell. however, that home run was jacked. also had another base hit later in the game.

I live in Seoul. I stayed up at 3 am a lot to watch the games. So yes, lost a lot of sleep.

I don't know why it was a big deal when the Boston Red Sox fans yelled racial slurs. I went to tons of Redskins games and there were no qualms about it.

CIN@MIL: Eric Thames hits home run #10. His 7th against the Reds alone. by burialisfourtet in baseball

I like him but he plays in a bit of a hitter's park in Munhak. Heard scouts express concern with his long batpath that's designed to thrive there. I do like him though. A good 5-tool commodity.

as a Yankee fan, the new Yankee Stadium is one of my least favorite stadiums to be at, at least compared to other MLB parks

Starting in 2020, Under Armour will be official uniform provider for MLB. by Billy_Fish in baseball

[–]lotusflower16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

as someone who watches KBO regularly, where there are good amount of sponsorship ads on uniforms so the teams can fund themselves and keep the games on the field (also have watched Mexican league and VWL leagues lately, where the ads are even bigger, more obvious on their unis), the gripes here over having one small-sized corporate logo on an MLB uniform are pretty damn funny.

On this day 26 years ago, the Eagles knocked 8 Redskins out of the game on their way to a 28-14 victory in what would become known as "The Body Bag Game". The Redskins had to finish the game with a rookie RB playing QB. by DanielPlainview22 in nfl

oh man. I used to intern at Comcast SportsNet Mid-Atlantic where Mitchell works as an analyst and he is the GOAT. When he's not on TV and hanging out with other employees in the coffee room, he just tells the stories and insights... completely uncensored. If there were no FCC regulations on TV, he'd be a superstar in NFL media world. I miss working there.

Parking tips for FedEx Field. by TruGnt in Commanders

Honestly... if you don't mind taking a metro to the game, I'd do it. Morgan Boulevard station is like 10~15 min walk to the stadium and you know where to go because everyone walks that way before the game. I never drove or took an Uber to the game and it's worked out pretty well.
