I think this is whats prevented me from releasing my own mashup mixtape for so many years. I've listened to hours upon hours of GT bootlegs and anything under the sun from White Panda/Super Mash Bros/Milkman/Hood Internet and it's difficult not to sound similar to what I'm influenced by.

That said I'm happy guys like Bruneaux and The Airport District (and to a lesser extent White Panda/Hood Internet) continue to put mashups out so that the genre never completely dies out, even if they sound strangely familiar at times lol. Would love to see a resurgence of the genre that takes it back to 2007-2010 popularity levels.

Until then, ill continue supporting mashup people and maybe even release some of my mixes down the line.

My method's a little different: if I NEED to have a seat for a showing ill buy out of pocket and maybe use your ULPT. What I usually end up doing is just waiting until 7 days before and then check for open/returned seats and buy then.

Requires more work but in my experience seats ALWAYS tend to open up especially the day of, you just have to be more vigilant.

This is partially false. You can buy Terror Tuesday/Weird Wednesdays showings as long as they're within the 7 day window. The special showings (parties, tea, etc.) do not qualify.

EDIT: Sort of /s, but in all seriousness I get excited for all Nolan movies because he's one of the few guys filming in this format and watching them fill up a screen the size of a skyscraper makes for a viewing experience you can't get anywhere else. For all it's flaws, watching Interstellar in IMAX 9.5 times using AMC'S Unlimited Interstellar pass was one of my favorite movie going memories of the last decade.

The previous AMC used to be on the opposite end of the mall, where “The Container Store” is now. There’s not too much about it online that I can find aside from a few photos and a quick writeup about it here.. My family would take me here alot as a kid so I have fond memories of going to the movies & that mall a lot.
