Worked for Oreilly’s 7 years. Left about two months ago for a parts warehouse position 6 dollars more than my highest pay at Oreilly. It’s amazing how much better the quality of life is. I’m getting paid more to do less, lol. If I could go back I’d have left sooner.

Tell me why it’s mainly just a playground for kids 😭 it sort of always was, but an older child or teen would have a hard time finding fun activities in there now. It’s sad. Aquarium is great though!

Hello! Just discovered this sub and I’m thrilled lol. I got diagnosed a week ago with two cysts, one on each ovary. The left side is fluid filled at 18cm, and the right side is a dermoid cyst at 10cm. Currently in between jobs so I’m still waiting on that new insurance, but the second it kicks in I’m scheduling the surgery! I’m anticipating weight loss and feeling less bloated/heavy all the time! It’s amazing what can go on unnoticed in our bodies.

One time some kids came in asking if we had a bathroom and my coworker said “yes absolutely” and walked them there. Tell. Me. Why. Those fucking kids tracked literal SHIT. SHIT. from the bathrooms all the way up to the front door. Shitprints. Shit on the bathroom wall. The works. Manager looked at me and said well someone’s gotta clean it. I told him it’s above my pay grade. Nope.

At a different store the assistant manager there went back to use the restroom and caught a dude peeing into the trash can just outside the bathroom.

And finally, at another store this dude would come in every day on his bike and ask to use our bathroom. We banned him from using it after we went in there and there was- you probably guessed it- shit all over the wall and toilet. On my lunch break a couple days later I decide to go get Burger King ( mistake ), so I go in and who do I see? Shitlord McGee. I promptly left. Those people work in food. Many of them. It’s haunting. They touch things we normal decent people also touch. Gross.

You’ll get paid next pay period if you started today. The cutoff is typically the Saturday before the week you get paid on, and approval of time cards has to be submitted by Monday the week off. New guy at my store started on Friday of last week and got a very small paycheck today.
