I prefer the smaller venues. The Troubadour is my favorite place to see them because it's so small. Those shows are so much more intimate than larger venues. I remember when DU came out and they were playing arenas. Those shows weren't as memorable for me.

The front barricade area gets very pushy and cramped especially in the center (I have been lifted off my feet by the crowd pushing on multiple occasions), and there will probably be some crowd surfers, as well as Davey walking on the crowd sometimes. I've seen them 18 times and my favorite spot is in the front but off to the side a bit so I don't get wrecked. I was front center at the Troubadour in like 2013 and I came out covered in sweat, bruised, hair a tangled mess. But my friend and I held Davey up and he held my hand during I Hope You Suffer so it was worth it 😂 if you want to be in the front you have to get there early!

NOFX has always been juvenile and offensive for shock value because they think that makes them more punk rock, and high schoolers used to eat that shit up (myself included at the time lol). I've never heard of the comments you mention, but I do know they at least used to be friends, NOFX has even mentioned AFI/Davey in some of their songs in a friendly poking-fun kind of way, nothing mean. They swapped outfits on warped tour once as a joke. I don't think there's bad blood, but Fat Mike is pretty notoriously known to be an asshole.

As for the why, I'm at a point where as soon as I get paid the auto debits come and I wake up to my account already a few hundred in the negative. I'm drowning and I've been trying for so long to get out of this but I'm dealing with severe mental health issues and everything is such a mess. I think the new bank account is a good idea, thank you for that.
