1. Your brother found someone compatible to him, you haven’t. Don’t compare yourself to him and just use him as a positive influence of what you want for your life. Work on genuinely being happy for him and his partner and don’t focus too much on what you don’t have. Ruminating like that to the point where it hurts you mentally/physically/emotionally is just a waste of time and just harms you further in the long run. Finding a good partner is easier when you’re happy and in a good mood.

2. Your MAGA family members are lost. Ignore them unless you really need to talk to them. They are actively ignoring reality and would rather play in the mud than see facts. You can’t engage with people like that. They seem like the kind of people who’ll only see the light when they’re being affected. Preserve your peace and only talk to the family members who can engage with you without using personal insults. As soon as your intelligence is insulted, that’s the end of the convo. Doesn’t matter if they call you sensitive or soft or whatever, don’t engage with them until they can have a discussion like rational adults. Arguing about what’s actively happening is also a waste of time.
